My Not-So-Secret YA Book Addiction discussion

talk about the 1st book in the mortal instruments series

I was totally hooked on this series since the first page :D
I was so tired of the paranormal clichés and Cassie created something really unique :D The woman is awesome! :D
I loved Clary right away and I knew that she wouldn't disappoint me ever! :D
Usually, I like the heroine first but then she turns out to be a backstabber and I feel like slapping her across the face several times. -.-
And Simon was so sweet and funny from the beginning. :D I wish he was my best friend. :D
Of course, the one I loved the most was Jace +.+
I'm really into battle scarred, hardened, tortured heroes like him. +.+
Well, in general I loved all the characters, even Valentine.
He is one of those characters that I hate for all that he did but that I also understand. I guess I just love to hate him or whatever are the appropriate words. :)
Though, I didn't like Isabelle much. I still don't. She reminds me too much of the "high school queens". -.-
