"In this thread, everyone will post their reviews/opinions of the book they have read this week AFTER you rate/review it on your page. The purpose of this is so everyone can see what you read this week and read your review without having to visit each profile. Some of you have their profiles locked, so this saves you the trouble of unlocking it.

ANY COMMENTS THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO THAT MATTER WILL BE DELETED.

The format will be like this:

Name of book.

Author.

n/5 stars.

"Your simple opinion/extended review/one word that expresses what you thought of the book. GO CRAZY! Anything counts. Don't feel pressured."

Link to your review.

Also, this allows us to be organized, so even if a member didn't log in for about a month, they can add the book they've read to the appropriate thread.

THANK YOU ALL!

EDIT:

As I've mentioned in the guidelines, one word or a simple opinion counts as a 'review'. I only called it that because Goodreads calls it that."

Now let's see your achievements, awesome people.

The Catcher in the Rye
J.D. Salinger
4/5 stars.

The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger

This book was incredible! It was very enjoyable to read. Holden is just epic, imitating teenagers life at its best by Salinger.

As most people say it has a repetitive style which was a little bit boring, but surely isn't that bother.

You have to adapt to whatever environment you have, live the small beautiful things before they faint.

If you are reading the book after seeing the movie you would be surprised .. i liked the book version of the story better .. amazing part didn't give it 5/5 given that it was kind of Voldemortless :P

Book: Blood Will Tell
Author: Samantha Young
Genre: Fantasy, Mythology
Finished Date: 20.June.2012
Rating: ★★★★
Review: I finished this book with contented sigh

≈ I'm new to Samantha Young books and I was a bit skeptical about how good they were. But after I saw that most of her books were rated 4+ stars, I thought I should just check one out. And WOW! It hit me right in the face how I can't let the book out of my hand. Recently, I didn't have a good time connecting with some heavy myth fiction, Daughter of Smoke and Bone being the latest. However, this one was just very good. Especially mixed with the usual romance. ≈

Rebecca
by Daphne du Maurier

3/5

It's one of those books that would be PERFECT for english literature classes. The heroine is shy and awkward ,and she struggles a lot because of that. She marries a guy that she loves so much but not sure if he loves her in-return and everything in the house reminds them of the guy's deceased wife.Through out the novel you can see how her personality changes ,and she starts getting matured. The interesting part is WE DON'T KNOW the heroine's name! the author never mentions it!

Johara Almogbel | 52 comments Zombicorns (Zombicorns, #1) Zombicorns by John Green

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Okay. So. I might be the only human in the circle of readers I know that really really doesn't like John Green. (please feel free to prove me wrong and provide me with a companion). Also. I hate Looking for Alaska like I hate brussel sprouts. By which I mean: very, very much.

But. Buuuut. This was good. There. I said it. Good dystopian universe, great idea for a zombie apocalypse, and a poignant, meaningful ending. And best of all? It was short enough for me to read and finish on my ride home from college.

And, it's FREE. If you want a quick entertaining read, I recommend this.
