mysty jumped on top of her log and stretched. sniffed the air. then she flopped on her side and soaked up the sunny patch that had filtered through the trees. a soft wind blew, and the leaves dripped from last night's storm. one landed on her nose. she sneezed, then stood and shook herself out. her wings raised, and she ran along her log before jumping into the air and flapping away.
Sneak jumped from a tree and landed softly on the ground. Time to get food.
