Tunisian Books discussion

I started reading Tunisian books in Arabic very early and I think I loved the writing style. Yet, growing up a little and shifting toward the French books, my focus and interest shifted to the latter. What steered me off the Arabic one is the obsession with the (post)colonial era. However, the Tunisian writers in French are rather focused on current issues. My favorite themes are the search for a definitive identity and the decadence of social and professional ethics.
