I would vote Alex Pettyfer for Jace when he was a teen, but now he looks too old to be Jace. Jamie Campbell Bower might be ok.
Has anyone else noticed how the hot guy in books is always played by a British guy in the movie? I mean Edward in Twilight is described as hot, Rob Pattinson in movie.

Saw the movie... the first few scenes with Jamie as Jace were slightly strange... his eyebrows... and I was one of the people who said I loved him in the role. He improved after wards.
Like Magnus, though the actor could have been more, well, gay Magnussy. He wore no pants in his first scene, which was amusing.
Lily was good
Kevin was okay, but if he changed slightly he would be a lot better in the role as Alec.
Jemima was okay as Izzy, perfect if she acted less b!^**y. That saddened me.
The person for Hodge was okay... would have been better if Luke killed him like the book. Like, who gives Hodge a flame thrower?!
Anyone else for Valentine would have been much better. Anyone as long as they were blond and didn't have long hair... and acted less crazy and more passionate.
Robert as Simon was interesting and good to say the least. More gaming terms needed.
Saw Jocelyn and thought of Game of Thrones. Just couldn't think of The Mortal Instruments. GoT. She was good otherwise.
Luke... eh, it was okay.
Loved Madame Dorathea.
Anyone, just anyone as forsaken would have been nice. Just. One. Forsaken. Please!
