Byron walked into the training center hefting his 4ft long hammer
Noctis sauntered into the training vicinity, idly tightening the clasps on the glove that was positioned on his left hand, his cerulean eyes sweeping over the sight of all the others here. It seemed there was a lot, and this thought frightened him -- he was not all too good with a lot of people.
Sauntering closer to where everyone else was mostly located, he glanced around. Would they train with dummies, or would they spar against one another to see where each one was? Perhaps they could do anything they wanted in the time being. He glanced at Silica."Do you know what we do?" He asked.
"Nope," he murmured simply, glancing around before returning his gaze to the individual."Do you want to spar together, maybe?" He asked with uncertainty.
Silica shrugged. "Why not" she said, dropping her bag on a bench. "Do you want to do weapons sparring or power sparring?"
"Weapons," he murmured. Power sparring was probably not a good idea -- not with all the people that were currently present; they could probably hit someone by accident. Materializing from thin air was his sword, appearing immediately in his grasp. Holding it by the hilt and twirling it behind him and over his head, he brought it sharply to his side and then took a few steps back."Ready when you are," he murmured.
((does it have to be the same weapon? If so I'll change it)) Silica summoned her weapon. It was a classic demon weapon, like a sword, but a deep red color and a barbed blade. She took a few steps backward and looked up at Noctis, ready
((Naaahhh, it doesn't matter.))Her choice of weaponry was rather interesting; he hadn't known she could summon weapons either, but given she wasn't carrying anything, it would have been safe to assume that she could. It looked like he would be making the first move this time -- he usually gave his opponents the upper start. Holding his sword in an offensive position, he tensed and sprinted her way, spinning around whilst his sword glinted in the light given off by the lights. Spinning around 360 degrees, his sword came back around and sliced for Silica's abdomen, and then he brought his sword up and brought it down sharply, hoping to impale her somewhere along the shoulder or arm.
Silica jumped sideways nimbly with a twirl. She was now behind him. she swung her demon-sword sideways as if to cut him in half
He stepped quickly to the side, the point of Silica's sword piercing his side slightly, as he was not quick enough to dodge it completely. Whirling around, he spun down and kicked his leg out, sliding his feet beneath her to throw her off balance before he quickly stood again and thrust his sword down to her shoulder blade, hoping to penetrate it before she moved away.
She fell, but did a handstand flip. The sword was still going down, though and lodged itself in her leg. Once she had stopped her flip, she stood up and pulled out the sword, lettting free a stream of blood. Then she held it out so that the hilt was facing him. Her leg was already starting to come back together, seamlessly. "Take it" she said, nudging the sword toward him, crimson drops already starting to fall from her hand
He took the sword from her grasp, his eyes looking blankly at the wounds embedded on her leg and her hand."I think this sparring session is over," he murmured, eyeing her injuries. He wasn't certain whether she knew how to treat a wound -- he sort of did. However, something told him that it was very possible that she could maybe even heal herself.
Silicas leg wound finished healing. "Why? I can still fight, you know. I'm already dead, injuries don't do a thing." She said in a monotone voice. She was starting to get tired of saying that. Her hand started twitching and soon the entire wound was gone, as if nothing had ever happened((awww I gotta go. stinking organizing class for 2 hours.... grumble grumble))
((Alright, I will be anticipating your return!))"Alright," he murmured, twirling his blade in his hand again. He hadn't known she was dead, which this thoroughly interested him -- however, he wasn't necessarily alive either. He took a few steps back, licking the blood of the blade of his sword as he waited for her to get back up. His fingers trailed along the sleek blade, wiping off the remaining blood that his tongue did not get.
((Okay! Just a warning if I disappear for a while or something)) :)Silica stood up and twirled her sword.
"It's your move this time, you deserve it," he murmured, tilting his head as if to taunt her to impale and punish him for hurting her.
"Alright," he murmured with a sigh, disappearing and reappearing behind her, where he kicked her in the back of the knee and then whirling around in another 360 degree angle, lifting his leg and kicking for her flank whilst then turning around the other way and slicing his sword at her.
She buckled slightly when he kicked her but she recovered quickly, ducked and jumped up, turning around as she did so. While she was midair, her feet lashed out and struck his stomach. she landed on all fours and brought up her sword while standing
The blow left dots scattering in his vision as he tumbled to the ground, rolling a few yards before he quickly stood, his sword a foot or two away from him. Standing up and leaving the sword where it was, he ran up to her and grabbed her arm, the one she was using to hold her sword. He twisted her arm around as he moved behind her and then yanked, spinning her around and then letting her arm go. Now he was standing in front of her again, where he did a round kick where his leg lashed out and kicked her in the face three times, before he spun around and used the other leg to do the same. He then did a series of somersaults back to where his sword was, gripped it in his hand and put it over his head like a scorpion tail ready to strike.
Silica raised her hand to her sparring partner as a sign of pause and stepped up to Derrik, looking down at him. "are you new here?" she asked with narrowed eyes. ((oh I forgot to add in her profile that she's 7'11.))
((If anyone read my late post, ignore it.))With a small bout of temper, he dismissed his sword and checked his side and his arm, muttering beneath his breath.

((oh I forgot to add in her profil...""Yeah. I'm the new kid in town. The newbie. Whatever the human terms are. Why does it matter to you?" He kind of snarled.
Silica glared at him a bit more, then turned to her original partner. "Sorry if I hurt you. I sorta forget that it's not normal to not feel pain"
"Hm," he huffed -- he was in pain, he just wasn't going to admit that; not to anyone. His eyes traveled from Silica to Derrick, his pupils narrowing into dangerous slits. "Disrespectful!" He scoffed mentally, his lithe fingers absently trailing against the side where blood steadily poured from the wound. Shaking his head and glancing away from the both of them, he breathed out steadily."You are definitely a worthy opponent," he murmured.
SL wrote: ""derrik be careful"came from the mini walkitalki in his ear
"they are smart""
Derrick nodded his head and said, "Smart and fierce. What do you advise I do?"
Silica smiled, pleased "thank you. I do admit, you fought better than most". Then she heard Derrick saying something. "what did you say?" she said sharply
" dont fight derrik. as long as you are in disguise they think you are one of them. dont try and show off. and most importantly dont pick a fight with them." he said
His eyes snapped back to Derrik, his finely tuned senses pinning on the male. His eyes narrowed. If this guy was supernatural, he sure did not seem like it. In fact, he couldn't smell anything ethereal on him -- he did smell… something else though."Something is off about him," he murmured.
"I know. It's like...... Unnerving. And how does he know human terms?" she glanced back at his side "so can I heal you or what?"
Noctis tore his mind from the odd entity for a moment and redirected his gaze to Silica. His lips pursed, eyebrows furrowing. He didn't like to appear in a need of help, but he couldn't stay injured for too long -- he would get weak."Yes, please," he muttered.
Silica smiled and waved her hand over the wound. Then she put her hand over it, said some incantations. It stopped bleeding immediately and her arm turned red. Then it sealed up, no scar. She stood up, satisfied. "there you go!"
Silica suddenly froze. Her ears picked up a trace of something. She telepathically said "do you hear that?" to Noctis
"Thank you," he murmured feeling a little better now that the wound was gone and done for. He dusted himself off, even though he looked relatively clean side from the blood on his clothes and the way it was ripped in some spots."Oh," he breathed out."Where are my manners?" He asked himself more than anything."My name is Noctis," he murmured. Then he followed Silica's gaze, tuning in on his hearing. He knew the source was Derrik, however, the faint voice was not belonging to Derrik."You mean the static voice?" He whispered beneath his breath.
He tilted his head gently in the direction of Derrik."The new kid has someone speaking to him over a line it seems," he whispered to Silica, glancing away from Derrik so that Derrik wouldn't know they were talking about him.
