I hated the first book (manly coz it reminded me of how dumb i was in high school) but by the last book I liked it. I do like Alexander Sterling I think my husband fits his decription and thats why I continued the series after the first book.

I am getting Night World, but I should get Kissing Coffins first. I am ordering my own personal copy of Carmilla today. Then I think I will order the last season of Buffy the Vampire slayer on DVD. I love Buffy,Angel,Spike,Willow,Darla,Drucilla and the rest

This has nothing to do with vampires but really you should read The Pump House Gang by Thomas Wolfe. Its a long short story. About surf kids in 60s California. People never really change. Surfer kids, beatniks,punks,hippies,goths,rockabilly boys,hotroders. But I gottah tell yah. Surf rules. Thats why I like the Lost Boys. Its kinda vampire surf Cali type stuff.
Really yu would dig it. How could you not. A normal rich white kid might not like it. Anyway this being about vampires I start on Kissing Coffins tonight.
The 80s is my time and my place. However I don't remember a Cult movie called Kissing Coffins. Alexander is gone and even Raven doesn't know where he is. Hm
I don't care *happy laugh* today I start on Kissing Coffins and then lots of practise on my 1931 National Steel Duolian.
Vampire Kisses and Raven and Alexander. My Gothic soulmate said Raven coyly.
Vampire Kisses is in the young adult section of the library,LOL,LOL,LOL. There just not room for enough,LOLs on this book. Its a childs book so I should not even be in on this topic. Via Con Dio

oh um sorry i guess but i kinda like the action and romance and like hot guy in books lol its kinda weird but yeah
I am into Vampires with a V. I have read vampires stories all my life and they have Romance but it is not the main theme. Hot Vampires. WTF! That is a new twist on Vampire stories which are essentially ghosty stories about demons, and more in the horror genere. There is love but it is twisted. Everything has to be hot nowdays. Everything is about sex. How very shallow. My idea of vampire romance is rape em an suck em dry until you find a real hot one, and then you turn them. Now that's a true old school vampire. Like Damon in "The Vampire Diaries" he is my kind of Vamp. Stephan is a lame ass whimp who drinks rat blood, LOL
Trying my best to be nice. But Alexander is lame, and Raven who is a Vegan Goth vampire lover. The terms Vegan, Goth, and Vampire don't even belong in the same proximity. You Sucks, Abby Normal is the only real Goth girl in Vamp lit. She makes Raven look so way like a posseur. Again just an honest opinion, and not trying to be mean. Read You Suck. Then you will see why Alexander is so lame.
