The Door Between discussion

This forest is one that, once you enter, it is almost impossible to get out. The forests gaurdian, a wolf that speaks, will give you a riddle if you wish to come out and if you dont succeed you will never come out.

I just entered this huge forest that seemed to go on forever.About a few feet ahead of me I could see someones silhouette, maybe a boy, but with all the mist it was hard to see.

Walking nonchalantly through the forest, he rubbed his hands together as he glanced around. He wasn't cold, he just wanted something to do with his hands as his eyes were preoccupied. He knew he was likely to never leave these woods if he decided to, but he didn't care -- he could go on awhile without food before he went insane. Water…? Probably not. He stared straight ahead and stopped, seeing the faded silhouette through the obscured distance. Was it feminine? It looked so. Squinting his eyes, he cautiously walked closer.

The figure started getting closer and closer. I scared pulled put my knife, but was even more scared about the fact that I might had to use it, I would prefer to be killed then to kill someone, but it mu=ight scared him off. It was a him. ~Hello?~ I whispered when he was about 3 fet away from me.

He stopped, cerulean hues glancing down cautiously at the knife in her hand, which made his lips quirk up into the faintest smile. He cleared his throat and wiped the smile from off his countenance, speaking in a soft voice lest the feminine think he is dangerous."Sorry to startle you," he apologized."My name is Noctis, Noctis Caelum…" he murmured.

I looked up at him and the smile in his face, I don't know why but it calmed me down. I put the knife away and tried to make my expression seem like I had not been terrified to death, he seemed so calm and in a way trustful, I didn't want his to find out I was scared and freezing cold, he seemed to be perfectly okay with the strong wind and mist in his short sleeve shirt.
~You didnt startle me, I was just being careful. My name is Des, Destiny Brown...~ I said whispering, he was doing so, so I went along with it trying to put my face as blank as I could.~How did you end up here?~ I whispered to him.

To her question, Noctis glanced to the side, not being able to see anything other than trees and the terrain, as the fog obscured any chance of seeing much too clearly."I came in here on my own accord," he murmured. He knew about the wolf and the riddles, but he hadn't cared, he went in anyway merely because he was both curious and bored.

Thar startled me.On his own accord??? He didn't seem like the kind of guy who would walk into such a calm forest,he seemed like the one who would be looking for adventure,though thinking about it I did the same thing, I had been attracted by the big trees and all the fog. Not knowing anything about it or even its name I just went in for curiosity.~Do you know what its called? Or why their it seems to be no one here apart from us?~ I asked him raising my voice a little.

Noctis nodded, crossing his arms nonchalantly over his chest as he glanced over his shoulder and about, still seeing nothing but fog and faded foliage."It is called the Whispering Woods," he proclaimed, rolling his head as if to crack his neck."No one comes here because it is rather difficult to get out of," he added in regards to the second portion of her question.

Why would it be so hard to get out? it seemed like such a peacfull forest, the mist gived it a calming sensation.Though the idea of been trapped in here wasent so charming. ~Why is it so hard t get out~ I asked worried. I turned my head around trying to see through the fog, it was imposible, it seemed like we were the only ones here. Now a feeling of wanting to get out quick stated to pass through me, what am I going to do? Atleast I wasent alone, or not in the moment. How could I know if I could trust him?

Noctis sighed, running a pale hand through his raven dark hair."They say there is a wolf out here, and if you want to get out, you have to solve one of his riddles..." He murmured, realizing the discomfort and uncertainty in her eyes."You want to leave?" He asked her, almost looking amused.

~Well...no umm is just that I never knew that before coming in here.Is it dangerous?~I asked him, I could already feel the fear building up in my stomach.

Noctis just shrugged nonchalantly. Other than the lack in sight and the wolf, he was quite certain there was nothing else out here that could do potential harm, but then again, his knowledge wasn't vast on this place."Not that I know of," he murmured."Did you come out here out of curiosity, too?" He asked.

Jenna entered the forest, knelt the few places that she actually felt like home and she could do whatever she wanted to do. She wriggled her fingers and a pale colored sphere of light appeared in her palm. Then she began to walk through the forest.

Should I tell him the truth? I guess there was no harm, he as well as me had done the same thing so..~Yes, in a way I felt like I was suposed to come in, the trees are so interesting and the fog seemed friendly, though I am not so shure any more.So you also came in for curiosity? Why?~ I asked him, maybe he had a different point of view about this forest and I was realy hoping to find out.

A light seemed to be coming through the fog from far way. (If jenna want to come in the scene?)

Jenna squinted in the gloom, and she made out a dark figure. Caustiously, she stepped closer, ignoring the saying of how curiosity killed the cat. Jenna looked around her, noting the places where she could hide or use to her advantage if that person in front of her attacked. She moved closer to the figure, stepping into the person's field of vision.

"I was walking by, on my way home, and this forest just seemed so mysterious and the fog was so dense… I just had to check it out," he informed her, running a hand through his dark hair."I think it is pretty peaceful here, really…" he murmured.

~I think is way to peacefull as if it was made like this by someone or something~I told him looking directly into his light blue eyes for the first time. ~What do toy think about that?~ I asked him

Upon making eye contact with her, he paused, staring intently into her eyes as if he were seeing something. Really, he thought it was very possible. After all, what place was constantly have fog prowling its vicinity? "It could be possible…" her murmured, still looking deep into her eyes."Can you feel that? Someone else is here," he whispered, turning his glance away from her eyes to glance around.

When he stared into my eyes thee was this moment were something weird happened...Maybe I am just making up stuff... His last words startled me, yeah I had seen a light before but I had totally forgotten it by talking to him. ~I think I saw something before. A sortof light sphere. Right?~ I asked him trying to catch his sight as if to see if that "something" happened again or f I had jus imagined it.

Noctis kept his eyes glued on their surroundings, only looking back at her once he felt the presence had gone off somewhere else."I didn't see the light, I can just feel their presence," he murmured, wiggling his fingers at his sides as he tore his gaze from her again and glanced about. Could this person be a potential threat to them?

I had this feeling that I was not so shure about, I trusted him but did he trust me back. I was to scared to ask him.
I was worried, what if this knew person was dangerous would it harm us?
~Is that your power?~ I asked him
Was he able to presence people or creatures?
~Should we approche her or him?~ I asked wanting to know his opinion, he seemed older and braver than me.

Noctis looked back at her, his lips twitching up into a slight grimace."I wouldn't consider it a power, more like a skill," he proclaimed to her. Raising his hand, his pale fingers uncurled, revealing the palm of his hand. In the middle of his palm, an electrical blue light formed in his hand and became an unstable ball of electricity, the static sparking and making an electrical sound."That is one of my abilities." Still keeping the electrical ball in his hand, he raised his other hand and did the same time, but this time it was blue fire instead.

His power surprised me soooo much!! I had never seen something like that before, and that was something big coming from here where eveybody I knew had something special as I call it. Even me.
~What do you use it for? what does it do?~ I asked him with a face of surprised and amusement.

Noctis glanced up from the electricity and the fire, eyeing her with slight amusement."Well, this one," he murmured, thrusting his hand forward so that she would think he was going to sting her."… this one," he began again,"is electricity," he murmured."I can do many things with it." He then showed her the fire."And this is fire, I'm pretty sure you know what I can do with that,"

His hand with the blue thing gor so closed to me that it made me jump back but then made me laugh I dont know why, I usually never laugh so it made me really emberassed.I blushed with still a smile in my face. His power was so amazing but also so dangerous he could use it for hurting but also for protection, was he really meaning to hurt me?
~Ofcourse~ I told him, ~You werent gonna sting me right?~ I asked him sortof blushing and laughing at the same time.

Noctis allowed the electricity and the fire to die out, a light laugh escaping his pale lips as he shook his head."Destiny," he began, saying her name for the first time and liking the way it rolled off his tongue."You can trust me, alright?" He encouraged, keeping a sincere smile on his face."If these powers of mine are used around you, it will be to protect you I can assure you of that," he murmured.

His smile brought mine to grow even bigger. His words surprised me a little.
~Noctis~ I said trying out his name for teh first time just as he had with mine
~Thanks~ I said with a shy smile ~You can trust me as well, would you want to know what I can do?~ I asked him wanting so bad to show him.

Noctis took a step back, giving her an offhanded shrug as if to say 'go at it,' as he canted his head to the side in curiosity."I'm watching," he murmured, his eyes unblinking.

There it was the oportunity ((dont know how to spell that)) to show him what she could do, how much I wish it will impress him as much as his power had impressed him.

I closed my eyes and smiled concentrating on a grey wolf with green eyes...And then that was what I had becomed. My power was that I was able to change anything about my self that was fisical and anything about anybody else. I had wanted to surprise him so I started with something huge, usually the most that I do is change my hair color or make my self look exactly like someone else.
I changed back into me and opened my eyes...

Noctis' lips quirked up into a small smirk; he was thoroughly impressed. Really, his first guess was that she was a shape-shifter, and so he stuck to that. He had seen multiple shape-shifts, though it impressed him almost every time."That was interesting," he murmured, his smirk turning into a wide grin. He was impressed, however, he wasn't too good at showing it.

Disapointed filled me, I guess I didnt surprise him as much as I wanted to.
~I can change anything about my self thats fisical like hair or nose but also into whatever I want like a cat or a tree, I can also change other persons but I am not so comfrotble with that, it scares me to change other people sometimes so I dont have much practice with it.~ I told him.
~What about you? How long have you known about your power? Have you learned how to control it perfectly?~ I asked him, for me It had taken lots of time to control my power on myself to the point were I was shure of it.

Noctis nodded with a slight "Oooh," as he understood she was not exactly of the shape-shifter origin."Interesting," he murmured, running a hand through his dark hair as she asked him the question he did not really like to answer; he was ashamed of his lack in knowledge."Sometimes," he answered."Sometimes my emotions effect my powers and it gets out of control…" he murmured."If I get too happy, too excited, too angry, too anything, something bad usually happens…"

I could see that he was uncomfortable answering my question witch made me lok down emebarresed, hes answered hit me hard, I knew what he ment.
~I understand you...my sister..well she killed...our parents with her power...it was an accident ofcourse, they were normal and she just got to angry..her power went out of control and well she didnt mean to...I havent seen her since then, she freaked out to much and ran away, I had to also cause who would explain to the police about to dead bodies with no makr on them.~ I told him realising it was the first time I had said it outloud.

Noctis canted his head to the side, his lips parting as he attempted to conjure up some words however he did not know what to tell her so he closed his mouth again."I'm sorry," he eventually managed to get out, licking his lips nervously. He began to think of his parents however quickly pushed the reverie away.

I could see how he felt uncomfortable searching for words to say. I understood him perfectly I wasent good at expressing my feelings in a good way like he was witch made me feel relaxed around him. I was about to ask him about his family but thought rather not to, it would be hitting topics to deep and personal. Me telling my story had build up a wall of tension in between us, one that seemed hard for me to brake, his smile was gone from his eyes...I wanted so bad to make it grow again. The best way to do it I thought was to change the sucject.
~What are you planning on doing from here on?~ I asked him without even thinking, it was teh first thing that came up to my mind and I realised I really didnt want to know the answer. What if he was planning on leaving? Would I manage by myslef?...I knew the answer to that, ofcourse I would I had done it before but did I want to?

Noctis was glad she changed the subject and he put on a fake smile, knowing she just wanted to see the light in his countenance once more."I might stay here for awhile," he murmured, shrugging nonchalantly."You?" He asked her, looking hopeful for her, hoping she would stay.

His answer relieved me, I let out a sigh I had been holding so long without noticing.
~Me too~ I aswerd him happy that part of the sparkle in his eyes was back though I wasent so shure it was real or he just did it to make me feel better, and if he had well he had succeded.
~Would you mind me tagging along?~I asked him, I just had to say it I knew his answer might dissapoint me but there was no way to go back know.

"Sure, of course," he murmured, gesturing for her to follow him as he began sauntering deeper into the woods -- he thought it was deeper of course, he didn't really know where he was going. He had forgotten about the crestfallen conversation and was now smiling genuinely."You like my smile?" He asked suddenly, turning to glance at her.

I followed him deeper into the forest waking beside him but not to close. His words surprised me and made me stop, I could feel my face getting hot cause of blushing. Ofcourse I liked his smile!!! But could I tell him without braking into more blushing and embarrasment.
I swaloed hard and tried to answer him
~Why would you ummm ask that??...I guess yeah...ummm...I do, but why do you ask?~ Aghhh that was like the worst answer ever!!!!!! I looked down an kept n walking trying to avoid his eyes, he was having fun out of this I knew so, he just loved making me uncomfortable. That made me giggle.

Noctis' smile turned into a full on grin upon hearing her answer; she was obviously nervous and he knew it. He chuckled lightly, shrugging."I just had this feeling that you did, that's all," he murmured. He knew she was avoiding eye contact with him, but that was ok; it was expected. However, he couldn't help but reach up and gently grab her chin and then turn her head up to look at him.

His hand against my skin felt like and electric rush of hapinnes. He pulled my face upwards and made me look into his deep eyes.I couldnt take my eyes of him, I stared into him with out sayign nothing. A smile spred across my face. Should I break the silence or not?
