Wow Delilah! That is a lot. And I thought I had heaps of faves!
There are a couple more YA books I'd reccomend. But I'm currently not near my books shelf to get the exact details. However, Juliet marillier did a couple of YA books that I loved.
Tomorrow when the war began series was excellent..and so was rangers apprentice series.
I got my sister addicted to those series.

I like all of those mentioned, Blue Bloods series is one of my favorites and of course Royal Blood Chronicles. I love Anne Rice whose Vampire books still are at the top of my list.
I read Eighth Grade Bites about a year ago. I finally got the next one, but haven't gotten to it yet. Anyone else read these?
People should read the Shadow Falls series, Vampire Academy series, and the Vampire Diaries! Ohh also Unearthly series! :)
Hi, I am new to the group but I have read your post and some of the books you all list some I hadn't heard of but looked them up, and have spent money in cyberspace, currently awaiting their arrival, LOL. You all have got to check out The Magikh Series: The Black Phoenix by Khalif Aziz. He is only 13 but his work is a great first. It' a short read but it combines Egyptology, Cyberspace and Physics. Very interesting fantasy, sci-fi, YA!
I just finished Blood of Eden:The Immortal Rules, and it was a good Post-Apocalyptic Vampire story with a good strong protagonist. It has a dose of Romance and has a storyline that you like more and more the further into the book you get. The beginning was (as in most books) the slowest part. It's also a decently long book (about 485 pages). Hope this helps :)
i read the Artemis fowl series by eion colfer recently.
not too bad.
i think it might be for the younger ya reader but im 33 and i quite enjoyed it.

If you have just vampire academy and then start covenant series u won't get over how similar the start of the storylines are!! Like identical! But now I don't know which series of the 2 I like more ;)
Ok here are a few YA recommendations I've enjoyed :)
- The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare
- The Morganville Vampires series by Rachel Caine
- House of Night series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast
- Graceling Realm series by Kristin Cashore
Adele wrote: "Graceling realm series.whats that one like?"Well the 3 books in it so far take place in the same fantasy world, with some cross-over characters, but different main characters. Graceling is the first one of the three, and introduces Katsa, a girl who has been "graced" with the gift of killing and forced into being an assassin for her uncle the king. I really liked this one, both the main characters, and the world it introduces. I enjoyed the other two set in the same world equally as much. They all have a hint of romance but on a YA level, and a strong female lead.
That happens to me a lot when im reading YA books. Firs book is great and has you saying omg you have to read it and the second you read with anticipation only to feel meh and you give it another go with the third only to still feel meh.
thankfully i haven't encountered this in a while. Im reading the bloodlines series right now...loving it!
last ya series that got me addicted was strange angels by lilli st crow
