I found some group discussion questions for this book. Would anyone be interested in them? Just remember they may give away something since they normally are at the end of the book. You may want to wait to look them over until you are finished. Let me know & I will post if anyone is interested.
Is it OK for me to pipe in now? I just found you.I've read half the book. My opinion: someone did some great marketing of this book and got some reader reviews that really sold me. I find it difficult to follow. I have a hard time telling if description is imagined or true. The writing is clumsy. First Jun Do is here, then he's there, then you can't tell where the heck he is. Too much is left unsaid, left to the reader's imagination. Yet torture scenes are described in awful detail.
I'd be glad for you to pipe in Beth :) I didn't do this audiobook but there were at least 5 people that voted for it but I have no idea what happened to them. Maybe someone else will join in on the discussion now that you have started it.
Just finished this audiobook and loved it! I listened to the audiobook and had the hardback edition as well from the library. I found the audiobook to add an extra layer to the story and made it even more interesting for me. I am interested in hearing if anyone else found this to be the case as well.I would encourage you Beth to stick with it and get through that confusion in the middle because it really starts to come together later on. I was a bit lost in the middle as well but found what happens in that section to make the story even more reqarding and interesting in the end.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and it is now one of my favorites of the year!

Please be courteous to others and don't post too many "spoilers" without at least posting what chapter you are on so others know if you are further ahead than what they themselves are. You may even use spoiler tags if you wish.
Most of all...Enjoy the book & the discussions.
