وصايا
محمد الرطيان
5/5

Review: Amazing!
≈ I've seen this book go on and off many of my friends' shelves; so imagine the amount of intrigue and curiosity especially when it gets 5 stars from almost everyone who read it.
This was soooooooooo good. From the amazing first chapter to how it ended, it was satisfying and thrilling. Tammara Webber isn't afraid to throw some curve balls or every cliche in the romance history but she does it so well, it was brilliant. ≈
Book #39On booze by F. Scott Fitzgerald
2/5
The title is misleading. 1st half was dull, but I enjoyed the 2nd half. With that said, I fell like this was a waste of a book and just a quick way to make more money.

Book #41Cosmopolis by Dan DeLillo
3/5
I had no choice but to watch the movie before I read the book, and I'm glad that I did. Although DeLillo's writing is amazing, it sometimes needs a visual aid. There were some parts of the book which were left out of the movie, which is understandable becuase they didn't really make sense. An interesting read, overall.

Book #42Why we broke up by Daniel Handler

I didn't want to put it down, I wanted to keep reading and reading until the end. The story was heartbreaking and beautiful. The main character was constructed so magnificently. I absolutely love it.

Title: Cartoon Guide to Genetics
Author: Larry Gonick
4/5
I am supposed to give a presentation in a couple of week partly about genetics and had a hard time trying to sum it up. This helped. A lot.
Book#52
Title: Wonder
Author: R. J. Palacio

Such a sweet book, if I had to describe it in one word it’ll be “triumph”
Book#53
Title: The History of Love
Author: Nicole Krauss
4/5
I truly loved Alma (both of them) and Leopold. Disliked Bird. Loved the book.
Book: Die for You
Author: Lisa Unger
Genre: Fiction, Crime, Thriller
Finished Date: 30.June.2012
Rating: ★★★★
Review: absolutely surprising...
≈ Die for You is a thriller/crime novel following Isabel's hunt to find her husband and get her revenge. I completely felt for Isabel. I mean how disoriented, shocked and devastated by the man she loved was so heart-breaking. Lisa Unger certainly has a deep voice I enjoyed reading through. Some lines were just so deep with beautiful meanings. The interactions between her characters are very well-written and just unique. I really liked how all of the main characters in the book got their closure (thus, getting mine too). It felt good reading such a very good thriller. ≈
No Time for Goodbye
by Linwood Barclay
3.5/5
A teen girl's whole family suddenly vanishes without trace after the night she stayed out late and made her parents angry. No one knows if they've been kidnapped, murdered, or just left because of what the daughter did. After 25 years, the daughter and her husband start searching for clues to discover what really happened. The ending is FINE but I personally found it lame.
The Spindlers by Lauren OliverMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
I loved Before I Fall, so when I found out the author had written a children's book I figured it would be a good enough addition in my everlasting quest to find good not-Diary-of-a-Wimpy-Kid literature for my brother. Plus, the synopsis was awesome.
Sadly, the story didn't live up fully to my expectations, but that's just because I'm being picky and I was hoping for a more... magical universe and a more gripping storytelling. The book is good, though. It has the right amount of adventure and magical creatures to keep you occupied, and surprisingly easy enough to read that it only took me an hour or so to finish it. And my brother loved it. Take me back ten years and I would've loved it, too.
And, this is shallow, but, the cover's really pretty.
