The Genre Underground discussion

Greeting everyone to the Genre Underground group here on Goodreads! We're here to talk about and promote awesome Genre Fiction (though we mostly cater to SciFi, Fantasy, and Horror) that slips through the cracks because it happens to be Small Press or Indie.

If you are an Author, we understand that you want to tell everyone about your awesome books, only, please don't be one of THOSE authors... the kind that is so self-promoting that you turn people off.

We're here for an open dialogue, to discuss the things we love and rant about the things we hate. Be courteous and civil, even when you disagree.

Thanks much for the invite! Nice to see a welcome home for small press authors like myself. I love cross-genre books that include sci-fi, horror and fantasy so hope you all can recommend some here!

Does this count as "Indie"? The Kindle edition is available from Amazon. Winner of Locus, Hugo nominee etc etc. Although you may NOT have missed this (a lot of people did not miss this), I thought it might be a good place to start.
