I love these stories and think one day, they will have potentional to be something real. So here it is. The future are TDC.))

Siki looked down at the cradle. What she saw humbled her to a smile. She looked out the window. Zen was out on the hill outside the house, with Cassy. Her magic was growing day by day. Siki could almost see it in an aura around her, gentle and light just like Cassy herself. She smiles again, as Felway's house came over the hill. He waved to Kia, who sat under the tree on top of the hill. Siki hasnt even notices her there. Felway's hair blew back in the wind as he trotted down the hill. Cassy stopped her practices and ran over as fel swing off his horse. She hugged him and smiled pointing toward the house. Siki couldn't make out the words but she could guess what she was saying. Zen came up behind him and clasped him on the back no doubt making a joke about something. Fel smiled and looked at the window, Siki felt he was looking In her eyes, and smiled. He said something to hem and stared walking toward the house. The orange sunsets make him look powerful, Siki thought, make him look as beautiful as he is.

Siki turned away from the cradle and went to be door, opening it just as Fel was about to knock. She was going to tell him to be quiet, but he caught her in a kiss, sweeping her off her feet before she could say a word. He set her down and looked at her, and there was something in his eyes, besides the smile, that made Siki think that something must be off. She put it aside thought, because they all had those sort of days. "He's sleeping" Siki whispered, taking him by the hand and leading him to the room with the cradle.

"Cassy said his eyes turned blue today." Felway's whispered. Siki smiled and nodded. Felway's looked at her once more, making Siki almost gasp at how handsome he was. But It also gave her the sense that something was off again.

Felway's picked up the child and cradle him in his arms. The love in his eyes was so strong. Siki came up beside him and leaned on his shoulder. "his eyes look just like his fathers." she said. "they both give that sense that they are always thinking always beautiful even when they are angry."

"are they." he mused. The baby started to fuss and he set him back I the crib. They heard the door open as Zen, Cassy and Kia came in. "I missed you" he whispered in her hair before he went into the other room with everyone else. She caught his hand and kissed him for a second before pulling back.

"I missed you too. I'll be in a second." she said letting him go, amused by the smug smile he wore. She tucked in their child, listening to the soft clicks of his boots and hushed whispers. She kissed the baby's forehead. "sleep well and wake bright. You will always have someone here to love you, my son"

Zen winked at her as she walked into the dining room. Instead of scowling as she would have normally, she raised a eyebrow. "ok so are you gonna talk or do you just want me to try and read your mind?" Kia said. She was sitting next to Zen and Siki wondered if that was what Zen look was about. Kia had come stay with them, to all of their surprise. It ended up working out in the end. After what they all had been through with Siki's uncle it just seem that she fit with them. And she did, ending up being very good with children and with magic, making Cassy’s crazy magic something Siki could live with.

Felway's turned away from the rest of them, as he washed his hands in the basin of water. "I.." he faultered. "I wish I could say that everything seems to be well" he said. He dried his hands. Why always when things are so damn well? He thought. Everything was perfect right now. Their first child was healthy and growing, Cassy’s magic was growing, and Zen was still Zen. After all they had been through, with Siki's uncle, it finally felt over. And now Fel had that feelin again. The fear and anger. And now he has more the ever to lose.

Siki watched Felway. He wouldn't meet her eyes. Cassy glances at Zen, confused. "It seemed that when your uncle died.. There was so much more we didn't know..” He turned to face them, but didn’t look at them. “I would have never thought..”
“Thought what Fel?” Cassy said, he mentioned their uncle. It was never easy. Once they had their memories back, and Siki and Fel were married, Cassy had begun to feel better about life. She was out of her Uncle’s control, even though Siki still refused to use her magic, she wasn’t opposed to Cassy’s.
“Siki, Zen, you remember the man who kidnapped Siki when we were children?” Fel said, looking at them . “He had a son… and your uncle… Cassy do you ever remember your uncle talking about someone else he was training?”
Siki looked at Fel, then at Cassy. This was almost too much. “T-there might have been another…” Cassy said, wide eyed. Fel put his hands on the table hard and looked at her, the gesture made Cassy jump and look up at Fel. “Fel…”
“Cassy, how powerful was he?” Fel said wildly.
“I-I..”
“Cassy you must know!”
“He.. I don’t-.”
“Felway!” Zen said, standing up. “Back off, what the hell’s wrong?” Zen said, giving him a look.
“I went into town, and our pictures are everywhere Zen. He’s looking for us. He’s calling us cold blooded murders, and all the people believe it. He took over their uncle’s kingdom and the people call him the best king ever. And they are all looking for us.” Fel ran a hand through his hair and turned around.
Siki was looking at the ground, her eyes somber, but her body was rigid, just as it always was when she knew she’d done wrong. Kia was looking at her, and turned her head, seeing her owl in the corner of her eyes. “What is it?” She asked her, making everyone look at her. Siki shook her head.
“I know.” She said looking at Fel. “I being dreaming it for a while now.” She smiled sadly. “I don’t know what to do..” her eyes misted over as she looked to the room with their child. “How can we run? Where can we go?” Cassy stood up and hugged Siki.
“We’ll find a way, sis. We will. I promise.” She looked at Fel and Siki hugged her back. Fel looked to her. He nodded.

Everyone else was asleep. Felway knew it. It was past midnight. He couldn’t sleep, even with Siki next to him. And it was hot, like the summer nights always were. He stood over the cradle, and brushed his hand along his son’s cheek. Was he ready for this? Could he be a good father? What were they going to do? The baby’s small fingers wrapped around Felway’s pinky. He smiled a little.
He could tell the baby would have Siki’s dark hair, he could see it starting to fuzz around the top of his head. Fel was worried about her when he left. He didn’t want to leave them, he didn’t want to miss anything in their lives. He wanted to remember every little detail. Even now he sometimes didn’t understand a joke Zen made about their childhood. But almost everything was back. At least that’s what he thought.
He felt warm arms around his waist, and smelled Siki’s light scent of oak and lilies. She leaned her head against his back. “He’s beautiful, isn’t he?” She murmered. She wore a light night cloak in her sleep. But even in bare feet she could be silent.
“Yes.” Fel whispered, putting his other hand on her head. He untangled his hand from the sleeping baby’s and turned to embrace her. He remembered when she used to be a bit taller than him. Now her head only came up to his nose when she stood tall. She rested it on his shoulder now. “I love you so much Siki.” She whispered into her hair. “I’m not going to let anything happen to either of you.”
Siki looked into his eyes. With her pupils wide in the dark, Fel thought, her eyes are even more beautiful. “I love you.” She whispered. “I think I always have. And without you, I don’t think I could live. When you forgot me, I could barley go on.”
“I’m so sorry.” He murmured, as she rested her head on his should again.
“It’s not your fault. It’s over. Or soon it will be.”
“It can’t go on forever.” He agreed, holding her tight, but the words felt wrong. They both knew something was coming.

“Ok, Zen, Kia. We’re gonna think of something!”Cassy said. They’d both come to help her with her lesson, but she wasn’t interested in magic today.
“Apples?” Zen said, “I’m thinking of Apples.” Kia elbowed him in the rib.
“I’m thinking of bringing a knife to your gut.”
“Shut up!” Cassy said, exasperated. “Siki and Fel are still asleep, how about when they wake up we have a plan?”
“Oh.” Zen said. “Well… we burn the house and run.”
“With a baby?” Kia said, annoyed. “Why did they even have it…” she stopped at Cassy’s glare. “How about we just go kill this guy? Sounds easy enough.”
“No.” Cassy said. “He’s like uncle, maybe worse.”
