Guinea pigs discussion

So all that Bella will eat is grass, hay, letttuce, dandelion leaves and apple. So I put cucumber and carrot in her bowl.(small piece of carrot but kinda like 1 1/2 inches long). So anyway she will just sniff the carrot if I offer it to her and sometimes not even bother sniffing it. She will just look away. Same thing with the cucumber. I heard guinea pigs love these food so why won't Bella eat them????

She doesn't know them. My gp love them, but they had to get used to them first.

Chunk up the food she wont eat. Do one food at a time- try carrots first. Chunk them up and put it in her pellets. She will get used to the taste by eating them and not knowing it. Do this everyday for about a week, them show her the real thing- the big peice. Do not givw here any pig pieces untill the week is over. If she still wont eat it, keep trying.

It takes time, but I have a feeling she'll love them soon enough.
