K.J. Joyner (spearcarrier) Oh, I didn't see this thread when I joined. LOL. I just joined and started to scroll down. I feel like I hit the jack pot.

I have three comics I do, one of which has a Kickstarter campaign going on to produce the next chapter so I won't plug that here.

So, hrm! Judging by what I read, I'll talk about the one I've been doing the longest: Akashik. Which is a comedy that started out with too slow of a build up and has finally gotten to some battle scenes. It was also supposed to be a drama when I first started writing it, but my writing partners were on chocolate. So it's a silly place.

The main character, Taus, has one goal and one goal only: to make the universe's strangest sandwich. Or so it seems to her stowaway, Ganji, who manages to escape from her ship during a mutinous space station take over. Which is probably for the best because Taus's yeoman, creatively named Yeoman, was itching to use him for target practice.

But wait, there's more! For just a few more burned eyeball cells you also get to see a young elite military troop travel outerspace on their mission... to seek out and destroy Taus. And they probably would manage to do it, too, if the emperor didn't keep sending them out for cheeseburgers and flan every time they turned around.

Teh teh teh?

Samuel Medina | 10 comments I have two webcomics, in two different genres and art styles:

One is Jake the Evil Hare , which chronicles the adventures of a very bad rabbit who tries to turn over a new leaf by becoming a superhero.
The other is Darkfell: The Fetters of Wizardry , an epic fantasy with a science fiction twist, which revolves around a half-elven seer who is caught in an ancient conflict between magic and technology.

Both are on hiatus until September 10 or so, but between the two of them there's over 300 pages of comics online. The latter spawned a novel, which is on my profile page :)
I hope you enjoy
-Sam

But I tried to use the link to Darkfell and it wouldn't let me? I'm not sure if it's my browser or what.

Link: http://thebird-feeder.com

It's about birds. You know, *real* birds, not those anthropomorphized, people-in-bird-suits birds. Real ones, with real lives, real concerns, and real philosophical questions. Please take a look and tell me what you think. :)

Teppei Ando | 2 comments Hello there. New member here. It's been a long time since I've posted a web comic series, though I used to do one on the daily. But I've been keeping plenty busy with my art.
Anyways I started a new series, HOW TO SURVIVE WORKING 9 to 5.
Definitely satirical and all drawn out of real experiences, but I like to play around with different genres within the world. Anyways I have a lot of stories already drawn out so I will be posting them on a regular basis in different formats (short narratives and single pagers, some continuing story arcs but pretty stand alone by post)
All in the setting of the 9 to 5 working. Hope you enjoy!

Madeleine Holly-Rosing (mhollyrosing) | 152 comments Since you guys are the best group ever...I wanted to let you know that the BOSTON METAPHYSICAL website is going through some growing pains and might be offline for a few days.

Also, Emi is working on Ch. 3, but it's slow going due to the Con season. I'll get it posted as soon as it's ready.

Thanks!

message 33: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Kane | 2 comments Teppei, I absolutely LOVE how your comic is illustrated! I adore that whole cross-hatched, shadowy, creepy look. =) My comic is about work as well, but not nearly as awesome-looking as yours.

I've only posted four installments of my comic, "Company Lunch", to my website so I haven't been too proactive in getting it "out there" other than Facebook; my website is like a portfolio of any artwork/photography I've done, but I've always wanted to create a comic (even back in newspaper days =P) so I have it featured on there too.

Company Lunch features an aardvark and a raccoon ( went the furry route) and their work-related misadventures, loosely-based on real-life events.

Quinn McSherry (McSherry) | 5 comments Hi
I have two titles going at the moment Sullivan's pub http://sullivans.smackjeeves.com/news/
which is more of a gag comic though it is on hiatus while I redesign the comic and work on my main title.
My flagship comic is Wanderer & Poet it is the story of two werewolves fighting an evil wizard in a world that has survived a Great War between humans and the supernatural. Wanderer fought on the supernatural side while poet is the descendent of the hunter clans that fought for the humans. Chapter one is now finished and I'm working on chapter two.
It can be read at http://wandererandpoet.smackjeeves.com/

message 37: by Quinn (new)

Quinn McSherry (McSherry) | 5 comments On a side note Wanderer & Poet is a little on the bloody side at times so it might not qualify as safe for work.

Ninjaandpirate | 1 comments Hi everyone! I just joined and am excited about this. My webcomic is called Ninja and Pirate and is a gag strip with story arcs and a narrative. It's totally family friendly and totally free. I'd love any input on how to make it better, too! It currently has 66 strips in it and can be read in probably under an hour. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I came here to take part in promoting the webcomic my partner and I have just gone live with, but naturally, I checked out a few. I just wanted to say that I think Wolfmen looks awesome. I'm so grateful to see more magic/fantasy stories featuring queer characters.

Devon | 2 comments Hey guys,
We are super thrilled to have gone live with the Death Partner webcomic--art by the amazing KNO21.
My partner and I were hugely inspired by the magical girl genre. Death Partners plays with weaving those tropes into a seinen-styled, gay comic. We jokingly call it mahou seinen-ai.
Death Partners isn't limited to just being a webcomic though. As each chapter progresses, there will be a unique score to accompany it. And, Haughn's band (one of our main protagonist) has a live EP available recorded at Circle Seven, the club featured in the webcomic.

We'd be so grateful if you gave us the time and checked it out. And if you dig it, please, go like us on Facebook.

Thanks so much!
D

Ian Burns | 1 comments I recently began uploading a long-planned webcomic called Huge Hana.

Updated every Monday, Huge Hana chronicles the rise of Hana O'Brian, a troubled soul transformed into a massive being of unimaginable power. Struggling with her newfound size, forced to flee from a world who deems her a monster, Hana will soon need to confront the very same dark power that transformed her, and face her destiny as earth's only hope against an unspeakably evil force.
