Yay! :)
Yay! :)
That's a good one. :) I really don't think there are any I dislike. Yet. I doubt there ever will be though. :D
Sherlock Holmes is an amazing clever person, I like him a lot and I like his way in investigating, and finding clues.He's just amazing.
GUESS WHAT GUYS!!!!! I just ordered the first Sherlock Holmes movie from netflix!!!! (The new one with Robert Downey Jr.) It'll be here soon!!! HOORAY!!!
GAH!!!! I saw the movie!!! :D :) ;) It was everything I could have ever hoped for!!! Amazing! I loved how he said so many great Sherlock Holmes quotes, and just... WAS Sherlock Holmes! Robert Downey Jr. has a gift. It was quite funny when Sherlock and Watson bickered. XD Jude Law did a wonderful job of doing Watson. I just LOVE that movie! :D :)
i need help with a story that i'm reading i can't figure some-thing out in this one story that i'm reading i'm kinda stuck on the plot of the story
Aw, muffins. I haven't read that one yet. Nor is it in my book. :( Anybody read that one? Robin? Khali? Don't worry, we'll help you out. ;)
I don't remember, but I'll take a gander tomorrow in my big book of Sherlock as it is getting a wee bit late here.
A big book of Sherlock huh? That would be cool to have. I do have a book of two books of 23 stories but it doesn't have them all. That's really cool.
How goes it, everyone? This had been a quiet group for a while. I'm going to make some new topics. ;)
I FINALLY saw the BBC Sherlock show, episode one. It was alright. That Benedict guy does a good job with Sherlock Holmes. Of course, he's no where NEAR as good as Robert Downey Junior, that's for sure. Watson... meh. Jude Law is WAY better as well. This episode kept my attention, but I prefer the movies. However, I'm not going to drop watching this all together. It is related to Sherlock Holmes after all, distasteful modern times or not. What did you guys think?
I really like this series I think it is an intelligent modernisation of Sherlock Holmes. I think the relationship between Holmes and Watson is done well in this adaptation.Don't you think its amazing that Sherlock Holmes is still so popular so many years after it was written?
Uhhh...*Deep breaths* Did you just say that Downey is better than Cumberbatch?! Trust me, don't make that mistaken snap judgement without watching ALL the BBC episodes.And I love the modernization. I think it makes it more realistic.
Okay, Robin. I will give it a chance. But I only have three episodes to work with, here. Hopefully, there will be more soon on Netflix. I'm watching another today. I would've watched it yesterday, but I am attempting to preserve them. That probably won't work.
I actually preferred the second season. So you should get it on DVD. Totally worth it. Especially if you don't want be to explode into a billion little bits with "Cumberbatch" written on them.
Yeah, I think I preferred the second season too. I'm a huge fan of Stephen Moffat from press gang to Dr Who.
Oh Mel, had to let you know I have a new Sherlock Holmes fan! It was my son's 9th birthday yesterday and he was given '100 children's classics' for his DS and the first book he's reading? Scandal in Bohemia!! - one proud mummy!
Okay Robin. Congratulations. I am officially hooked on BBC's Sherlock. I still think it's not as good as the movies, but Cumberbatch is doing excellent. One more thing...
There are THREE episodes on Neflix, as you well know, correct? Well, did you know that THE THIRD EPISODE ENDS ON A FREAKIN CLIFF HANGER?!!!!!!!!!!! Holmes now has THREE LASERS trained on him that could BLAST HIM TO SMITHEREENS!!!!!!!!!! Meanwhile, he is HOLDING A GUN AT MORIARTY which would most likely prove useless in the hands of anyone else against Moriarty. Moriarty. FOR PETE'S SAKE, WHY NETFLIX?!!!!! THIS IS PURE TORTURE!!!!!! (Don't tell me what happens, that would make it worse. Okay?)

Uhh, yeah, duh I knew that. Ummm, it's not Netflix. BBC's Sherlock is always only around 3 or 4 episodes a season.
You can watch all of Season Two on this website:http://www.dailymotion.com/moffatholm...
It goes:
"A Scandal in Belgravia" {Parts one and two}
"The Hounds of Baskerville" {Again, parts one and two}
"The Reichenbach Fall" {You know the deal. One and two.}

Well, yeah, but they could at least put another season on there. I mean, I'm dying, here.
