the empty house was a good one but i don't understand the motive behind the story at all, who killed the guy in the story which one was it?
Sometimesthe stories can be alittle confusing. I haven't read that one but I'll find someone who has. I had trouble with The Hound of the Baskervilles at times when I first read it.
at Sherlockholmesfan, the empty house was the colonel killing the young man because he knew the colonel was cheating at his cards games and was going to say something about it. The colonel as knew Holmes was alive and took the first opportunely to try to kill Holmes in the same fashion he did the young man. (sorry one of my favorite stories).
Why not make this group more interesting? Just an opinion but why not start something innovative such as applying the knowledge of the deductive powers of Holmes?
