I just read Crooked River which was based on real events when a Native American was accused of killing a white settler on the Ohioan frontier.

If you can get your hands on it, Washaka: The Bear Dreamer was a good story, too.

Sweet. I just borrowed Three Day Road from the library. I'm excited to get into it, but it's definitely not a book for young audiences.
