Fans of Amish Fiction discussion

It's time to start nominations for August's Christian Fiction group read. I used the list of categories from the Theme thread and using Random.org, it selected:

Real Life Situations

Rules:
1. Nominations are open until the 14th of the month. I will let us know which book has "won" on the 15th.
2. Books must be Christian fiction, or "clean" fiction to be eligible for this read.
3. Books are chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
3. One nomination per person.

Wow, it's really a slow month! As of now, my book expense for August will be low since I own both of these nominations!

I will be picking next month's group read later in the day on Sunday. I will be camping so I will pick them when I get home in the evening. I will update the list before making my selection so that any additional nominations will be considered!

I would like to nominate Can I Get An Amen? by Sarah Healy. I have just finished reading this book and loved it. This is Healy's debut novel.

I'd like to nominate The Mother Road by Jennifer AlLee. I know it looks like a light book from the cover, but it seems to cover a lot of tough topics :)

OMG, I did not realized that I had this book. It was a free back in April 2011. Cool! I wasn't going to buy it since I need to limit my book purchases since I have been going crazy with paper and kindle books.
