I have recently read Metro Girl and loved it! Has anyone read the rest of the Barnaby and Hooker novel series?

Metro Girl was okay, I liked it but not enough to want to read the next one. I should though.... I bought it.;o)
I really enjoyed this novel I just read it and I love the back story on Barney it was a great book. I love her brother!!!
loved this series! i actually prefer alex to steph but steph's family to barnaby's bro. conflicted! lol! i hope she writes more.
I loved the first two books (not a fan of the graphic novels), but I hadn't how Hooker got drunk and slept with that waitress then acted on "it's not big" with her. I mean why was he getting drunk with her there in the first place, and even if you are drunk, he remembered sleeping with her, and seemed to know what he was doing enough to flirt with her and take her home with him. And she forgave him way too easily for his cheating, they also never really talked about it.
It's been a few years since I read the books but
is one of my favorites. I was camping when I read it and keep everyone awake laughing with my flashlight and book in my sleeping bag.
was not as good and I agree, Barnaby should have made Hooker pay, big time, for cheating on her.
I just don't like how they played it off and joked about it like it was no big deal, and Alex continued to work with him after he did that. Like him cheating on her with that waitress wasn't a shocking thing for him to do. Plus it was all over the tabloids so that was embarrassing and he knew what he was doing when he took her to his place an didn't even.think about alex. That kind of ruined it for me in the Second book, but I wish she'd write another one.
