After just going through the thread "Hottest moment in the books" I thought why not have a thread discussing the sweetest moments?

So...

What was the sweetest moment for you in the series?

For me its all the library scenes that have Will and Tessa alone! I loved the library scene in CP specially! For some reason Will lets a little of his guard down at the library with Tessa, I guess her love of books gets to him and he realises how they are alike? I dunno I find he's sweet then.

He's always sweet, even when he's making sarcastic comments. There's just a special air around him that you have to look carefully to notice

Jem proposing to Tessa and in the carriage when they get to talk for the first time since they nearly make love in his room in "Fierce Midnight-" Basically when he says how he doesn't regret that night but how it happened too soon because he wanted to court her first. Awww :')

Also, when Will saves Tessa from that automaton in CP, covering her body with his so that his back gets all shredded up by the exploding automaton so Tessa doesn't get hurt.

I don't know whether its the sweetest or most heartbreaking, bit when Will was pouring his heart out to Tessa after finding out he had never been cursed. All before Tessa squished his soul like a bug.

Will has many sweet/intense/heart breaking moments but one of my favourite is the hospital scene in CP with Tessa after he saves her and Tessa thinks she is dreaming x

I like the one with Will and Tessa in the library, when he tells her that he loves her. My heart was a happy when he said that, but then it died when Tessa said it's to late.

Why, Tessa, why did you say yes to Jem?

When the first thing will did when he got back to the institute after finding out about the curse was look for Tessa and when will told Tessa how he felt and when jasmine said not to wear flowery hats while kissing in carriages that made my day and many more scenes with Will and Tessa

I really like the scene in Tessa's bedroom in CP when they were with Aolysius Starkweather. He showed her the spoils and she had nightmares. Will went in and comforted her, then he tried to kiss her but she turned her head away. That was so heartbreaking! Especially reading it for the second time after knowing everything I do now

Also, when the three (Will, Tessa, and Jem)on the train when they were visiting Starkweather. Jem said "some people wish for other things, Tessa" or something like that. He was looking right at her. The second time I read it, I knew it was foreshadowing and it made me squeal. I love Jem and Will, but I love Will better

I love Will and demon pox. He's hilarious

If only Will was a real person. Sigh

My favorite part was when Will called Tessa's name, and then later Tessa heard him, it was in the last book. That part was so sweet.

I liked when in the epilogue of Clockwork Princess they are remembering all the things Tessa and Will did together... So sweet and sad :'c

A funny-sweet part was when Will awkwardly asks Tessa how to take off her corset when they were about to sleep together.

Sad-sweet part was in the epilogue of CP2 when Tessa remembers the time she had with Will before he died.

TOO. MANY. FEELS.

One of the sweetest moments is when Will gives Tessa the book with the inscription. Knowing he intended to give it to her before he found out she was engaged. That made my heart melt.

That's a tough question. One of the sweetest moments for me was when Will let Jem become his friend in the prologue of CP2. I thought it was sweet how Gideon told Sophie he loved and wanted to marry her, that speech Cecily and his brother listened to with the rune Gabriel drew on the door. Also in the epilogue when Tessa said to Jem that she was good with words so she would say what he couldn't explain.

One of the sweetest moments, for me, was when Tessa decided to be with Jem (in Clockwork Princess). Her words maybe cheesy but because of high level of my feels back then, I think it was sweet and serene. :)

there is so many!! jem's proposal to tessa was so sweet and adorable and gideon's proposal to sophie after the scone incident and ofc will's proposal to tessa! basically all the proposals in the series and some of those cute moments between charlotte and henry, oh and the horse stable scene w cecily and gabriel <3 and this is only a few of them ahhhh
