Has anyone read this?

I stumbled across it and read it a few months ago and thought it was great fun. It had a unique supernatural twist aside from your normal werewolves and firestarters that I was definitely not expecting. For people who don't like alpha males, he hero in this series (while definitely an alpha) isn't an overbearing ass hole alpha which it always nice!

The second book in the series, Moonglow, is coming out on the 31st. I'm not normally big on continuing series that focus on different relationships in each book, but some of the ARC reviews on Goodreads look promising, so I think I might try to pick it up when it comes out.

PointyEars42 | 476 comments I just read the (dreadful) sequel to Nine Rules and could use something with characters I don't learn to hate, so I think I'll give this a try. Corsets on the cover, paranormal on the inside...yay!

Calisto I liked both of them. It was a nice change of pace from the usual pnr/historical romance. Moonglow takes a little more patience, imho. The beginning is a bit slow with the 'I'm just going to hate you and not listen to you even when you make sense 'cuz you hit on my sister'. Fortunately, it doesn't last too long. :)

Errrrrrr I dunno. I love fire covers haha. I reviewed this book last month. It was a 3 star for me, the plot was just a little too contrived with the whole fencing in the beginning, fencing disappears for 90% of the book, fencing reappears at the end to solve all problems? I dunno. It was worth reading, but I'll def pause before continuing to Moonglow.

Carolyn F. Now I loved it although I did feel the book dragged a little. I'm planning on reading the 2nd book.
