Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) | 22 comments Juvian walked around outside, wondering what his father was doing. He had always wondered who his real family was, since he was found an orphan at he ate of 13, having been turned into a human because of his desire to become one. He felt stupid for doing that, but never told anyone that he was originally a dragon, wishing he could turn back sometimes. No one knew of his real heritage or family, but they had taken him in anyways. Now he was the son of royalty. Strange how his life worked.

E.E.S. (classicsvariety) | 52 comments Tairue surveyed the things the peddler had brought. Very everyday things for very expensive prices. But he had some gold to spare, and this peddler looked like he did not.
"Hipperwish pots for twelve gold coins," said the peddler squeakily. "Leather working gloves for thirty. Even those fancy dragonhide boots you royalty are fond of for a bargain price of fifty gold!"
Tairue clenched his fists. "I'm not royalty," he told the peddler. "I'm a dragonlord."
The peddler looked at Tairue in fear. Everyone knew that dragonlords had no toleration for items made with dragonhide or any other part of the dragons' anatomy. "Meant no disrespect," said the peddler, his squeaky voice higher than before. "How about these nice leather boots? Fit well on anyone!"
Despite his anger at the peddler, Tairue bought the leather boots. "Bargain price," Tairue snorted as he walked through the rest of the market. "Bargain price my foot."

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) | 22 comments Juvian walked through town and sighed, looking through his book of flowers. Then suddenly he bumped into someone, falling back and hittin his head. "Ouch..."

E.E.S. (classicsvariety) | 52 comments Tairue helped the young man up that he had just knocked down. "Sorry," said Tairue apologetically. He picked up a book with a flower on the front. "Is this yours?"
"Yeah," answered the young man, taking the book and dusting himself off.
Tairue stiffened as he noticed the royal crest embroidered on the young man's clothes. Dragonlords and royalty did not mix well. "Tairue," he said, holding out his hand.

message 6: by Axela (new)

Axela Rialae huffed angrily, blowing smoke from her fanged mouth. She could not believe the nerve of some people! Running her out of their town like a stray dog! Didn't they know who she was?! Or... used to be?!

Apparently not. Now she had a nice little band of rogues following her, thirsty for the healing powers of dragon's blood and the protective prowess of dragonhide. She was too tired to deal with it now. She would ghost them all later. Her flame would be so hot, and they would roast so quickly, their blood would boil in their veins before they knew what hit them.

Smiling at the thought, Rialae spread her glistening black wings and with a bound or two leapt from ground to treetop, treetop to air. The jewels she habitually glued to her belly had long since scraped off. She knew she was vulnerable from below now, and the rogue unquestionably had crossbows or something of the sort. Her great wings rotating, she sped too fast for any horse to catch through the open air before ascending into the clouds.

Once there, she hovered, looking for the landmark of a single mountain where she had once made her Lair. She new it was unoccupied. She challenged any strange dragon who came near her old cave.

She leaned into the breeze and let the air carry her to her home, slightly dusty from lack of use. When she alighted at the top, she pulled her lips back and up in a Draconian smile. Platinum. She mined the precious rock from her mountaintop, using her grinding teeth to ingest the mineral. It was the only external thing she needed to breathe her infamous Blue Fire.

Izzy (goodreadscomizzy) | 22 comments Juvian smiled and shook his hand, "Juvian Tavris," he said softly, looking at his book again, "I was just on my way to the forest..."

E.E.S. (classicsvariety) | 52 comments "Aren't royalty supposed to stay within the citadel?" Tairue asked. "I'm going there, though. Have to meet up with my dragon."
