It sure does. That is the heroine of the story. It has been a long time and it is the BOM for the group I moderate.
How do I copy the images? I like that.Just finished
that I won in the GoodReads First Reader drawing. Wonderful romance.Heading back to reread J.D. Nixon's Heller
series for the third time (this year) while I await her release of Blood Feud.
I finished
. It was really good. I thought the writing on this one was the best so far. I just started

Thanks, it worked!
Finished rereading
Heller now reading Heller's Revenge and No Turning Back. I don't usually read two books at once but I recently downloaded an app that I will not name and have download some free books that are not currently available here. I got a high recommendation for that series too so I bought the second book from B&N.
Just finished the Raintree trilogy
and Demon Rumm
, Canyons of Night,
and Sundays at Tiffanys
. I'm starting on Tall, Dark, and Devastating
and tall, dark, and deadly
I started reading Surrender by Pamela Clare. Love it so far along with Pamela's great writing style. Going to work my way through the MacKinnon Rangers series.
Just finished the first book in a series that was new to me:Murder on the Mind,
, by L.L. Bartlett. Looks like it is going to be a great series. Moving on to the next book, Dead in Red,
. I understand she has two other series that I will look into later.
Just finished 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy
,
,
and I don't recommend reading them one right after another. I did it in 3 days and was really burned out. I also read Death Angel,
and Killing Time
Read Kathleen Brooks, Rising Storm
and love it as much as the other Bluegrass books. Romantic suspense with a lot of humor. Now reading
Fever Moon by Carolyn Haines. I have read her humorous suspense "Bones" books but this on is a darker suspense. I don't think the rumored werewolf is real so I will just classify it as suspense.
I went from being jet lagged to being an insomniac, so I'm zombie reading while everyone is asleep. Working my way through Kristen Ashleys Dream Man series.
While I'm waiting for more In Death books to arrive at the library I picked up Afraid Of The Dark I've never read Grippando before - loving it.
I do like Jane Ann Krentz (in all her "incarnations" - the only author other than Nora I know of who separates her styles w/ pseudonyms). I just finished reading Sugar Rush & Sweet Stuff by Donna Kauffman. I'm now in the middle of The Help, which is a good book but a bit too intense and depressing for me. I prefer lighthearted reading material with at least a touch of humor.
I am rereading Reunion in Death.
I so appreciate Robb's attention to police detail. I am so tired of reading books in which there is so many inconsistancies. Robb's books are flawless.
Half way through
and starting on Lost Moon
Its the story of Apollo 13 and the one that inspired the movie.

Really enjoyed them although I have the F word. The books in both series were so fun and funny and over the top romantic.
just finish reading delusion in death and can't wait for the next In Death book. Right now I'm listening to one of my favorite boon Treachery in Death and then New York to Dallas. I read and reread to both of these treatment so many time that I know most of the words by heart, nut I keep reading and listening to them.
Well, it's no wonder, Pinky. Those are two of the best in the series. There are many here (me included) who have read the entire series three or more times. Just enjoy yourself.
I did it again. I got intimidated by the length of the book and waited until a couple of days before I have to return it to the library.
So far it is really good
November 26I'm just finishing up "Chaos in Death"; then I will being "Delusions in Death"
; the "In Death" stories are listened to at the end of the day, as my cat and I wind down, therefore these can take longer than average to complete as one or both of us often fall asleep. In addition, my book club is about to begin "The Light Between Oceans".
I'm also reviewing some books for pre-teens (4th, 5th, 6th graders), creating a list of titles for young parents for Christmas shopping; I've read "Charlie Joe Jackson's Guide to Not Reading"
and recommend it for anyone whose child enjoys tongue-in-cheek humor. Now I'm reading "From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler"
(thus far, this is charming). Also on the pile is "The Captain's Dog"
and "By the Great Horn Spoon!"
A lot to read in just a week, so wish me luck!
Thanks.r.
I'm preparing for my Q&A with Linda Howard and Linda Jones. Since I am not really familiar with Linda Jones I am reading several of her books I just read
Bride by command and am reading Sun Witch
Moon Witch
I really liked Bride by Command, although I didn't realize until I finished the book that this is the last in a trilogy. Untouchable (first) and 22 Nights (2nd book) they are PRN romances
I hate when that happens. I just finished a book that had an earlier connected book that wasn't indicated as such on the author's website or here on Goodreads.
I've been rereading the in death series... Currently on memory in death. Also about to check out the Richard castle writing. Have a book or two in the Kay hooper bishop series I have to catch up on. Also Lisa gardner, very intense writing I'm in the raine/quincy series on the killing hour. I haven't started any Nora Roberts books as I read one in the past and didnt like it but was thinking of trying again soon since I do thoroughly enjoy her writing as JD Robb.
Lisa Gardner does write a good thriller. What Nora Book did you happen to read? There's quite a difference between her really early titles and the books she's written since the mid '90s.
Yes lisa gardner makes me wanna lock all my windows and doors before I read and jump at shadows lol. I believe the Nora Roberts I read was an earlier book, I can't remember the title. It was quite a long time ago that I read it.
I started with Robb and then checked out a few titles that my reading friends recommended and fell in love with them. I wouldn't write her off without trying a few as she really knows how to write stories about men.
If you like the in death books and wanted to read stone Nora Roberts, you should try some of the ones with a crime or murder storyline like Witness, Northern Lights, Montana Sky, Black Hills or the combination robe with Robb Remember When. Leve know what you think.
Some Nora will definitely be on my reading list for 2013... I will look into a few. I do like the crime/mystery aspects along with the romance as jd Robb... I also tend to like book series rather than stand alones usually. It's interesting to see the tie ins within a series of books and how the characters develop over time.
You might like her Three Sisters Island trilogy, one of my favorites, that has a bit of suspense in the first book. It's a lovely series. My most favorite though are The Gallaghers of Ardmore, set in Ireland, and the Chesapeake Bay Saga, which centers around three brothers in Maryland. These represent some of her finest work.
2012 has been a year of fantastic discoveries.... I got a Kindle in March and since then I've discovered Kristen Ashley's books and am now a total fangirl. I also discovered Black Dagger Brotherhood and love that also. Then finally I gave the In Death series a chance.... I'd known about them for years but somehow never picked them up to read.... so glad I did that now!!
You're right, Ame, this has been a great reading year for you. I discovered Ashley this year, too, and BDB last year.

FBI/Attorneys series by Julie James. It's a light, fun contemporary romance read. There are 3 books so far.
Another one I finished is Rising Star Chef series by Louisa Edwards. As the series title suggest, it evolves around cooking in a competition. The last book in the series (Hot Under Pressure) was my favorite.
I'm thinking of starting Roxanne St. Claire's books next.
