Camp Super *Advanced* discussion

Run by one of the workers at the camp. It's for anything you might need and ran out of or forgot to bring with you.

Riley walked around the store, intrigued by some of the magical objects. He'd never been in a place like this...it was continually surprising him with every isle. He especially liked the different types of food. Who know you could by candy bars that tasted like raw meet? It was lovely.

Karina was wandering the camp bored when she decided to go into the camp store. Maybe she'll find something that will keep her busy for a few hours. She entered and saw Riley in their doing whatever he was doing. She slowly scanned the shelves looking for something interesting or unusual.

Riley looked up when the bell on the door rang, unsurpassed to see Karina. His eyes wandered back to the shelf, uninterested. She was that one girl with the bright green eyes. He had always wondered what species she was...but some girls were offended when you asked them a question like that. Usually those were only the people who were cursed or something though.

(Green eyes)

Karina eventually wandered over next to Riley. "Hey Angel boy,"She teased him drawling it out. "What are you doing here? Looking for something specific or just looking?" She asked,her Australian accent thick in her voice. Her gaze still looking around on the shelves, trying to see if something caught her eyes. When nothing did she finally turned her bright green eyes on him,raising her eyebrow.

((I could have sworn...unless you have more than one charrie? :P ))

Riley rolled his eyes, leaning one arm on the shelf, he looked down at her imploringly. "Just looking." he said blatantly, then his eyes took on a playful seductive tint. "Wanna' be the prized shot?" He raised his eyebrows in turn, waiting for a reply. He tried to control his level of charm. There was a thin line he sometimes crossed when flirting--sometimes he just happened to be persuasive in the way he worded things. As in brainwashing persuasive.

Karina's lips twitched into a smirk but she surpessed it. She always knew he was a flirt, just here kind of guy. She went on her tippy toes and leaned in closely, so she could feel his breath on hers. "Why not angel boy?" Her lips then went into a sly smile, as her eyes flashed and her mood went into a playful kind of aura. "It would be fun, you are very hot,"Her eyes twinkled with mischief.

((Oh...I see.))

Riley took a step back, laughing as his arm dropped back onto his side. "Your funny." he remarked, shaking his head. And a bit to easy. He was interest though, in how far he could charm her without using his dazzling smile-the magical one. "And cute. But mostly funny."

Kaina laughed,did he honestly think she would fall under his charm? Oh,how naive he was. She just liked to play games, it's a fun way to waist time. "Mr. are you trying to charm me?" She laughed again,"I like to have my fun,but I assure you there's no way you will charm me. I like to play hard to get it. But I do like my challenges, if you're willing to play."

Riley shook his head, tsk tsk. "I only play to win." he warned, tone laced with amusement. "And if I really wanted to charm you, you wouldn't be able to resist." he added seriously. He was an angel. It was a power...or a curse. None the less, no one could refuse. It was actually kind of intimidating when he thought about it...even to himself it was sort of scary.

"You've obviously never met someone like me before," Karina told him,clearly amused. "Many of have tried,even some of you're kind. Besides that would be cheating using you're angel powers of persuasion,"She teased. She smiled slyly,"So what do you say? Are you going to be my new playmate? And do you care to make it interesting?"

Riley rolled his eyes. Everyone thought they could withstand the power. Her little better-than-you-have-tried speech is one he had heard before. He was almost tempted to prove her wrong...be he didn't, he wasn't sardonic about his gifts. "As appealing as being your 'play mate' sounds, I'll have to decline." he said. "I'm sorry. I just don't look right in bunny ears, been down that road before. So not gong back."

"Pity," Karina told him clearly amused. "It would have been fun. But it amuses me on what past experience you're talking about?" She stifled a laugh and covered her mouth with her hand. "Bunny ears? That would be very.... entertaining to see you like that." She smiled, her teasing nature gone, "So, has anything caught you're eyes here in the store? Any interesting object that can possibly keep someone entertained for a while?"

Riley gave her a look that translated to: Wouldn't you like to know? So he didn't reply to the first half of her statement. Instead he took another tantalizing step back. "I found some tasty treats, why are you so interested?" he shot back, raising his eyebrows.

"Yes I would like to know," Karina answered to his stare/look. "Why do you think I'm here? I got bored, so I thought I might find something that would help me past some time. I haven't found anything so I'm curious if you have,"She asked him tilting her head.

Apparently smart cookie here didn't understand an insult when she was being directed one. Riley mentally sighed, taking another step back towards the door. "You may just want to look around for yourself. I don't really know who-" he coughed, grinning. "What, you like."

Karina shrugged, already losing interest in him. "Oh well!" She looked around for a few seconds and then decided their was nothing their that would keep her from being bored after all. She brushed past him then,"See you around Angel boy,"Her Australian accent thick in her words.

Riley's eyes glinted darkly. He didn't like people knowing what creature he was. "Stop calling me that." he said, putting force into his words. He knew the influencing might work though, since he didn't have eye contact with her.

Karina turned to raise an eyebrow,"Fine I won't c all you that but not because of you'e little magical powers. " She smiled,showing her teeth,"See ya,An-gel!"She teased him and then was out of their,walking towards the cabins."Don't worry I'll only say it aound you,"She called as she walked.

Riley hissed, baring his teeth. Of course it wouldn't do any good. Its not like he had fangs or something. It was just an instinct. Which was odd...he'd never seen an Angel his at someone before. Well...he wasn't a full angel either.

He only stood around for another second to make sure she was far enough away before wandering outside.

Heather walked through the whole store, trying to find a lighter. There were none. There were all sorts of fire stuff-but it was for a fire elemental, and she was seriously disappointed. There was no way that she would be able to buy a new lighter, and Kaden had hers. She thought about what Riley had said, but was still undecided. Heather sighed, and went back to look at some of the stranger flavored candy-bars.

Kaden walked into the store with a grimace. He had ducked into the shop as soon as his conversation with Angel had ended. She made his skin crawl. Not just because she was an Angel...she was just so...ugh. He shuddered, walking around.

Heather looked up when someone else walked in. She almost laughed, when she realized it was Kaden. Abandoning the meat-flavored candy she walked over to him. "Hey Kayd." Her smile dropped as she started wondering why he seemed so on edge. It couldn't be because of her-could it? She decided not to listen to Riley. He obviously didn't know what he was talking about.

Kaden raised his eyebrows-biting back a rude remark. "Hey?" he phrased it like a question. Did she have like, super mood swings or something? Like ten minutes ago she had been about ready to stake him or something.

Heather looked down and frowned slightly. She held back a sigh. If he was already mad or whatever, then Heather could say whatever she wanted. "So. Um. I have to quit weather or not I want to because apparently they don't sell lighters." She gave him a pointed look, but didn't say anything else about it.

Kaden shrugged, "What of it?" He didn't care about charm anymore. She had thoroughly pissed him off. Basically flipping on him for no reason. Well...what was her reason? "Care to explain to me your thinking? I can't seem to figure it out. Your hot and then cold. What do you want, Heather?"

Heather looked away, "You're just as confusing." She muttered shaking her head and sighing. Heather looked back at him, frowning. "I want to erase the past." She muttered pinching the bridge of her nose. "Is that what you want to hear?"

Kaden rolled his eyes. "I really don't want to hear anything...your just a tad bit.." Emotional? Rude? Impolite? Cute? Impossible? Infuriating? All of the above... "Hard to read." he said finally, smiling slightly. How was that for self control? Wasn't even an insult.

Heather narrowed her eyes, and grabbed some random item from next to him, and turned to pay for it. She didn't care what she was buying and would throw or give it away later. She just needed to hold onto something to keep her hands from shaking.

Kaden followed her with a grin. Now he was going to have fun with her if she was determined to b so difficult and hateful. "Not to uhm...bother you." he remarked, completely lying-since that was his exact intention. "But I was curious as to why you needed a candy bar that tasted like baked maggot cheesecake."

"Well, I'm curious about why no one's killed you yet." She snapped back at him reaching into her pocket for some money. Heather put a fake smile on her face. "It's for a dare." She lied kind of obviously, but not caring. Heather clenched her jaw, wondering why he had to pick on her. There were plenty of other girls here.

"Well then, if I get to watch you eat it on a dare. Allow me." he remarked, dropping a ten onto the table before she could put her own money down or object. Kaden leaned back on the counter, brushing her side on purpose. "Now the killing part...was that you applying for the job?"

Heather shrugged, dropping her money back into her pocket. She didn't want to pay for something that would taste gross anyways. She unwrapped it, refusing to not eat it now that was apparently going to watch. "Would you let me? It would make life easier for a lot of us." Heather said coldly

Kaden gave her a wry smile, "If only it were that easy." he paused, leaning closer to her. "I have a theory." he whispered. Surprising thing was there were no shadows around Kaden...he was enjoying himself. Although if she were a demon...he was fairly sure she would be walking around like a thundercloud.

"I'm sure you have lots of them. Doesn't make them right." Heather hesitated then reached for a can of soda. She raised an eyebrow at him, "Are you going to pay for this too?" Heather asked. Since she wasn't going to eat some maggot thing without something to get rid of the taste.

"I'm fairly sure this one's right." he interjected. Kaden slipped a five onto the counter, he still had change from buying the candy bar-so what ever floated her boat. "Would you like to hear my theory? Or tell me one of yours?"

Heather nodded her thanks, and opened the soda. "Tell me your's and maybe this'll kill me before I have time to explain why you're wrong." She took a bite of the candy-bar and swallowed it without chewing. Heather made a face, and took another bite, determined to eat the whole thing, just to spite him.

Kaden smirked. She had such a way with words. "Well, my theory is. You couldn't kill me even if you wanted to." he remarked, walking towards the door. He shot a look over his shoulder that read: Wanna' know why? and smiled. "You like me to much."

((He doesn't actually think she likes him btw...he's just sayin' it because he thinks it will make her all mad and defensive.))

Heather choked on the stupid candy bar when he said that. Had he talked to Riley? She was mentally panicking but also in reality too. How were you supposed to stop choking? She had no idea and wished he would freaking help her whenever she was super wacked out instead of leaving. Even though he'd started to leave before she freaked out this time.
