~ Drained ~ discussion

Here is where the draining occurs. The Gifted are strapped to the chair and a guard brings in the extracting device. It looks like a sort of vacuum, even making a similar sound, but has multiple tubes snaking out from the metal barrel. The ends of the tubes are stuck to the poor soul, one even being stuck into their mouth.

Kelly was pushed in the draining chamber she stumbled on the floor, she got back up and sat in the chair as the guards strap her to the chair.

Josh pulled free of the guards and sat in his own chair wile the guards strapped him in. He nodded at Kelly.

"so" she said when the guards left the room.

Terren shoved open the large heavy door with a grut, dragging along with her the draining machine. She mumbled under her breath then cast her eyes upward, seeing the two strapped to their chairs. "Why hello there." She smiled as she pulled up the machine next to them, circling them like they were prey, her high heels clicking on the floor. She grab hold of the back of each of their chair and turned them so the two faced each other, a mad grin spread across her face. Then she stood and began to unwind the draining machine. "So... how are you two?" She asked, her tone mocking.

Kelly rolled her eyes then smiled "I'm good how are you" she said sarcastically

"Im good. And by the way im Terren and golly it's nice to meet you" She stuck out her hand as if to shake hands with her, then pulled it back, fake frowning at the restraints that held her. Then she let out a howling laugh and stuck a tube to the girls arm, pulling more from the pile and attaching them to the two gifted ones before her.

"wow do you really think your all that" Kelly said and shook her head, "and you should work on that laugh of yours people can mistake to for a witch oh wait, you are." she said, but covered the pain with a that's-it-you-think-this-hurts face.

"Witch. Hmm.. well that a new one." She giggled and then scooted a chair up to the two of the, so she sat in the middle to the side.

"i bet people didn't have the guts to back talk to the....." Kelly laughed "i can't even describe you that's how mean, bossy, aragint you are, there's plenty more than what I just said but it would be a long list" Kelly said with a smile on her face.

Josh laughed at Kelly boldness

"see people laugh at you" she said then giggles.

Josh squinted at Terren's face "Is that a zit or are you growing a second head?"

Kelly giggled "i bet 20$ its a second head"

"Your on" he said

"i bet she were foundation to cover all the other zits and moles, on that face of hers" Kelly said.

"yer talk about Cake Face" he laughed

"Omg totally! " she laughed, then looked at her " to much eyeliner, what are we going to a funeral or something? " Kelly laughed.

"And that lipstick, looks like she just bit into someones neck"

"she needs to be told that for her safty she should never be aloud to put make up, it shouldn't be illegal,". Kelly said laughing.

"Ditto, ugh it looks like a two year old snuck into her house and painted her face"

((Ha ha guys have you seen what Terren looks like?? ha ha she is the same age as you and looks like she wouldnt hurt a fly! Ha ha her pic. contradicts her personality!)

"Im gonna enjoy this." She said as she turned the machine on, the soft hum of it reverberated off the empty walls. She crossed her long legs and leaned back into the chair, waiting for the pain of the machine to hi them. She knew how it felt, after having countless people test it out. They had described it that it felt as if your inside were being sucked out. She grinned, her white teeth practically shining in the luminescent light.

Kelly rolled her eyes, "have you ever had emotions or feelings or memories? "

Josh started to get a tingling in his feet and hands but he ignored it and said "She obviously dosnt have the memory of how to put makeup on thats for sure"

"so true " kelly said giggling.

Josh moved his fingers around trying to get some feeling back into them, it didn't work

kelly still felt the same, still can feel, but not for long

"Why of course I have emotions and feelings! I steal them from little brats like you too!" She grinned, her voice edged with poison. she crossed her long legs and leaned forward. "Now lets get down to business."

Josh raised an eyebrow "And what business would that be?"

"My theory. That if Gifted are feeling emotions while they are being drained, the feelings will be stronger." Shw grinned, proud of herself. "Now lets start off with your families. Your poor pathetic families who live of the emotions we drain from you here. Who are hollow, souless people who don't give a crap about you. If they did, then why aren't they here. trying to save you? The families you havent seen since you enter this wonderful establishment, and probably never will again." She grinned evilly.

Kelly wondered why isn't september trying to save her why she hasn't came, she thought about her parents and how they probably were going to give her up anyway

Terren grinned as the machine gurgled, eagerly sucking the fresh emotions out of the two. " These people that you thought loved you. But they didnt love you. Oh no they loved your gift, they craved your gift. Just kept you around because of the promise that they knew you would be worth big bucks someday." She sighed, like she knew what it felt like, pulling her hand to her eyes to wipe away nonexistent tears. Her smile grew slowly, creeping across her face until its all that one could see. The grin of someone who had no soul, no heart, and lived off fear.

Josh smiled sweetly "I have no family, you killed them all when you took me"

"Well that happens in some cases. We have enough worthless beggars hanging around the streets, we just took care of them while we could." She shrugged. "Your parents were no better than the hollow people on the streets. Only difference was they were sane enough to keep little old you around so they could pocket some extra cash."

Josh turned serious "My family died trying to stop you from taking me away, they died loving me!"

"They died loving your power you foolish boy. You were there ticket to a life full of happy stolen emotions. Of course they tried to stop us, if we took you away wheres their money, their happy ever after? Down the drain."

"you mite say this, but I bet that's because your parents didn't love you, they probably disappointed that you didn't have a gift, so they didn't get there money, there probably more heartless then you"

"My daddy loves me. He owns everything you see and everything you can't, hell, he even owns you. I'm his little princess. He thinks you guys are no more important than the scum on the street or the gum on the bottom of his shoes, your just living piggy banks. And boy oh boy is her right"

"your a princess, ha, your more of a demon, I bet if you had a sibling it would go shot them self, to get away from you," she said. "and weres your mom, huh? What she was sick of you and your additued, I know I am," Kelly said.

Terren scowled, her eyes blazing with anger. She slapped kelly right across the face, so hard she almost tipped the chair. Then she stood, wiping her hands on her black pencil skirt as if she had just touched something revolting, turning around and heading to the door. "Im done with you two. Ta ta!" She smiled sweetly and turned to the guards who had came through the door. "Clean this mess up. And no food for three days for either of them. Any signs of disobedience and feel free to add another. Good bye."

"Filthy b*tch" Josh muttered after her "Are you ok?" he asked Kelly

"yeah" kelly said while one of the guards tookj her to her cell

Darcy was taken to the draining chamber were they drained some of her happy memories away then some of her excitement. They then took her back to her cell.
