I really did like that book. I recommend not reading spoilers and reviews in advance. I think that made my reading experience even better. Like watching a movie without having seen the preview.
Yay! We have a book! I'm third on the list at both libraries, so we'll have two copies to share.

I went ahead and bought it from Amazon. I'm off the waiting list at both places if anyone wants to hop on. I'll be happy to loan my book out when I'm done.
Hi, Did we pick a new book? I thought it was The Three Musketeers (which I am reading), but now that I look at the last thread, I'm not sure I remembered it correctly. If it's something else (or indeed, if we need to pick a new one), can someone let me know please?! Thanks!! P.
I think we did pick "The Three Musketeers", but I didn't follow through. I've been busy reading other things, and haven't gotten to it yet. Anyone else reading it?
I finally finished Casual Vacancy and posted little review. I have the sequel to The3M on hold at the library. I think may read a little murder mystery first. And that Kate Morton book that Di just finished is on my list, too.
You may want to read The 3M first, then the sequel - it will make more sense. Out of curiosity, is it 20 Years After? It's great.I'll finish it, I suspect, although honesty compels me to say that I have read it... 20-30 times, probably closer to the latter than the former. It was my Christmas book every year for ever. So I'm happy. When we get there, we'll get there. And I have several other in process books to read as well. And that Kate Morton book!! Hmmm, maybe THAT should be the next one!!
