there's the Giamatti's biopic called THE OWL IN DAYLIGHT:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0840404/
there's also a movie that sounds a bit more like what Cronenberg did with Burroughs' NAKED LUNCH, a movie (is it still in production) called YOUR NAME HERE:

THE OWL IN DAYLIGHT, UPDATE:According to an email received by someone, Tommy Pallotta (the producer of A Scanner Darkly) is 'not' producing "The Owl in Daylight".
According to IMDB's Tony Grisoni entry (Terry Gilliam's co-writer on "fear in loathing in las vegas" and "tideland"), he will be writing the screenplay to "The Owl in Daylight".
There's still nothing recent on Aint It Cool News dotcom. Maybe the film died.
Actually I would sort of prefer that the biopic idea did die. I think just generally more of a focus by the literary community on why his work is so still so relevant his work would be more interesting.
Jason, you mean a sort of Documentary about writers who attest that PKD has been a big influence on their work, or is still influencing their work?
I wonder how many mainstream writers would agree to be in such a movie, or is P.K. Dick appreciation STILL a niche market?
Hmmm, a "Naked Lunch" style approach might be interesting. But then again, if you did that you may as well just film "Valis".
