I read this book in my freshman year of high school and could not put it down. I carried it every where, sneaking moments to read it whenever possible. I guess it's time to reread it.
I absolutely loved this novel! It started out a little slow, but once I got into it I thought it was just brilliant!! What a fun mystery with clues, false leads, twists and turns, intrigues and disguises, it makes me want to read more of his work.

I agree and want to read more of his work also! The only other book I have read by Collins is The Woman in White which is one of my top five Victorian books.

If anyone is considering reading this you should! I am interested in reading your comments on this great book!
