Keith carried Indie in and gently set her down on her bed. "Alright, now, can you feel anything yet Indie?" he asked kindly while taking her wrist and measuring her pulse softly. Next Keith would get some sugar water and make her drink it, a drop in sugar is usually what did it for the campers.
It took Lindie a few moments and deep concentration but she finally lifted her arm. "Why dis this happen?" she asked innocently and confused. Her blue curls spilling out around her head sort of making her look like sherbet because her face was pink. "T-thank you."
Keith nodded slowly and got some sugar water. "It's just a side affect of your power lashing out. Because you can't control it." Keith shrugged and handed the water to her. "Be sure to drink all of that okay? I don't care if you don't like the taste. You need to drink it."
Lindie nodded. Taking the glass the gingerly pressed her lips to the glass and gulped down the drink. Finishing she gagged. "I'm tired..." she whimpered. Lindie was scared an didn't wan to be alone. But she wasn't going to come right out and say it. She wa beginning to like him.
[I ate....]Keith sighed and ran a hand through his hair, grabbing the remote he sat down in a chair and turned on the TV to some show. Keith glanced over at her. "Go ahead and sleep, I'm not going anywhere. I have to monitor you anyways." He said with a shrug.
((Good))Lindie nodded and laid her head and her pillow and closed her eyes. She listened to the sound of his softl breathing when she couldn't sleep. Finally she sat up, grabbing her sleep clothes she disappeared into her bathroom. Coming out of the bathroom she had on a pink pair of snug boxers and a white shirt that had slits up the back.
Keith rose an eyebrow "Well that's...interesting sleep wear." he muttered under his breath before shaking his head and gesturing to her bed. "Smurf--sleep--now." he said, calling her a smurf because of the color of her hair.
((I Just cracked up, u calle her a smurf! That should be her nickname.))Lindie laughed softly. "I didn't know you don't wash red with whites." the she crossed her arms and glared at him. "Smurfs are blue, my hair has purple in it." she sighed and climbed into bed still looking at him. Her breathing was soft and airy. All Lindie wanted to do was to curl up in his arms.
[I agree :) It just seemed like a Keith thing to say....]Keith smirked as he kept switching channels "Whatever you say smurfie." He said with a small chuckle, he felt more comfortable around her then he did with other people. Keith didn't want to over load her with smoke so he resisted smoking but he did pop a few pills into his mouth and swallowed.
Lindie rolled her eyes and sat cross legged on her purple comforter. She didn't notice him pop the pills, even if she did though she wouldn't say anything. Lindie sighed. "What are you watching?" she watche the screen her eyebrow scrunched up in confusion.
Keith glanced over at her "nothing you should be concerned about. now go to sleep." Keith said simply even though he was watching spongebob. Keith yawned and stretched back into the chair with his arms behind his head in a masculine way. Keith's heart slowed due to the pills he took.
"No," Lindie crossed her arms over chest. "I don't want to sleep." they both knew she was not going to listen to him. She would eventually tire her self out eventually. Lindie watched the way his muscles rippled when he stretched, she gelt her stomach do flips and blushed.
Keith looked over at her and rose an eyebrow "You just said how you were tired." He said with a shake of his head before taking a slow breath and yawning. "Alright, fine." He turned off the TV and popped two more pills in her clear vision. "But you aren't allowed to leave that bed. Got it?"
Lindie swallowed thickly and nodded. Grabbed her bag she pulled out a picture of a girl, identical to her only with blob hair. She softly ran her thumb across the picture and tried not o let my tears slip down her cheeks. She sucesseded in not crying but her mood became depressing and sad.
Keith rose an eyebrow at her and shook his head "Listen, I know the whole not seeing your family hurts. I can't say I get it because my only family died before I came here..." Keith ran a hand through his hair and took a small flask from his pocket and drank a bit. "But it will be okay."
Lindie looked up at him and frowned. "I'm so sorry Leith," she blink back her tears but frowned more. "I miss her, but I won't get to see her when I get back....." The picture of the girl was noticeably younger but still Identicle to Lindie. "What happened to you family?" she whispered dropping the subject about her sadness.
Keith shrugged "Led my boss to her, she got shot down." he muttered, not saying anymore about the subject and about how he was a drug dealer that worked for a higher drug dealer. Keith shook his head as his partial high set in, just enough so that he was buzzed. Keith's heart raced unevenly from the whiskey and pills mixing together. "The dead have it easy. They don't have to deal with this fucked up world."
"They leave us in the fucked up World." Lindie whispered. She would seemed like a brat if she cried right now about her sister's murder. she didn't know what to do the crawl under her covers burry her face in the pillow and cry as silently as possible. It was true though, the dead left them in a fucked up world.((Drug dealer!? Seriously Kelsey!? :p ))
[hahahaha he was! That's why his mom got shot! He lived in New York and became a drug dealer to earn money for his mother and him!]Keith frowned and went over to her. "This is so not appropriate of me" he muttered before pulling her into his arms into a comforting hug. "Shhh....it's okay." he whispered, his heart continued to race in his chest from the drugs he had just taken. "I promise it will be okay in the long run."
"How, she is dead. Because of some low life!" Lindie sobbed softly into his chest. "We were thirteen, I was the twin that listened.... She didn't....." She shook her head and just focused on his heart beat. Lindie frowned knowing it was fast but didn't say anything. She swallowed. "I don't think you want to hear the story...."((O.o so he isn't anymore? All he is, is a junkie.))
[hahaha he's just a junkie now XD he quick the job.]Keith shrugged. "I've heard a lot of stories. They all have their own meaning. Some are their own fault--like mine--but some weren't meant to happen. Possibly like yours." He said kindly while shaking his head and taking a deep breath. "You can say it if you want."
Lindie nodded. "We Were 13, I listened and Lana listened but still did as he wanted. Lana went partying would climb through my window at night wasted smelling of smoke and everything else under the sun. Two weeks before our birthday she went missing. But Lana did that often, leave for a week then cone back. So when she wasnt back on our birthday my parents sent a missing person report in and we searches for her. Since then fourteen girls matching her features, blond hair, green eyes, have gone missing. Six months ago a few teenagers went out in the desert and were hanging out and a dog was with them. The dog dug up a bone.....fourteen skeletal remains all female were found. One of the remains was also found with a tiny set of bones....." Lindie wiped her tears. "A fetus, Lana was six months pregnan with a baby girl a the time of her death......"
Keith frowned "That's awful....really it is." he said softly to her. "And she was pregnant at thirteen? Damn. She must have gotten around." Keith shook his head and took another deep breath before popping another pill into his mouth. "I'm sorry that happened, really I am." Keith shook his head silently thinking to himself that the girl had it coming, it was her own fault based on the choices she made but of course he would never say that out loud to Lindie.
"We named the baby, before we buried them. Bentley Chase." Lindie sighed feeling like a huge weight was listen off her shoulders. "Lana made bad choices, but she didn't deserve to die. Not the way she did." She sighed and reached into his pocket before grabbing the pillbottle/baggy and frowned. "Why?" Lindie shook her head and crawled out if his hold.((Seriosly, am I the only one you give junkie charries too? Haha :p))
[yesssssss, well no, Jay has gotten a few too XD You were the one that choice to be where Keith was!]Keith rolled his eyes "Bentley--just like the girl from sixteen and pregnant. Fits." his eyes widened when she grabbed his baggy of pills. "Those are mine first of all, I'm your counselor so you can't question my choices." He said as if defending himself. Keith held his hand out to her for his baggy. "Come on, give it."
"No, From the time she was little she wanted to name her son was Bentley. We respected her wishes." Lindie corrested with a frowned then through the baggy back at him. "Fine," she find it unattractive how he smoked and popped pills. He also smelt like a ash tray.((If they get together he should kiss her first... And true, I should have read his charrie thing :p))
[hahaha true true. and he does not smell like an ash tray :P He smells like peppermints and Clogne. :P]Keith smirked and put his baggy back in his pocket where his cigarette pack was. "Still, sixteen and pregnant." he said with a shrug. He had never respected girls that got pregnant at a young age, he saw them as stupid sluts. Keith yawned and got out of the bed. "Now go to sleep Smurfie. You need rest after using your ability like that. Got it?"
((Haha that is what she thinks :p))"No," Lindie grinned. "I don't listen anymore, why do you think I look like a smurf now? Because my parents told me NOT to dye my hair blue. And if I say because I'm short I will kick you!" she growled out the last part playfully.
[hahaha well he doesn't :P]Keith rose an eyebrow "You are short for one, and because you have bluish hair that reminds me of a smurf. I'm older therefore I get to call you a smurf. Now sleep smurfie. If you don't I'll smoke in here and I'll blow the smoke all over your bed." he said seriously.
"Ewwwwww!" Lindie shrieked and crawled into her bed with a smirk. "Fine, your not going to leave right?" she said seriously afraid to sleep alone since her sister went missing. )((Short post, IK but have him kiss her already woman! Amber is getting inpatient!
[:P]Keith laughed and shook his head "Naw, I'll stay in here until your roommate shows up okay?" he asked with a risen eyebrow while he sat down on the chair again and turned on the tv. "You can sleep now smurfie."
"Kay," Lindie's eyes fluttered close and her breathing softened. She looked like a smurf as she slept. Her blue and purple hair hung over her face. Lindie liked Keith. She really hoped her roomate dint show up, shewanted him to be the first thing she saw the next morning.
Keith yawned and ended up falling asleep as well in the chair with a pink fluffy pillow held to his chest like a teddy bear as he slept. Keith hadn't meant to fall asleep, but her calm breathing had put him under and he really was exhausted. Keith rarely ever slept for when he did he usually heard fun shots
Lindie woke up the next morning and shook her head at him with a giggle. Shaking his shoulder he whispered. "Keith, lay in my bed. I'm going to take a shower." Lindie went into the bathroom and came out a hour later and shorts that were short enough the the pockets showed and three quarter shirt. Her usuall curly hair was pin straight and glossy.
When she came back out Keith was sleeping on the ground as if he had tried to make it to the bed but had collapsed half way there in exhaustion and had fallen back asleep. His chest rose and fell deeply with each breath he took and he actually looked peaceful
Lindie slid on her white cowboy Boots and shook her head laughing. She knelt down next to him and leaned real close. Her breathe on his ear. "Keith, wake up." she whispered. She hadn't meant it to be bit her voice was husky and seductive. Lindie really wanted him to kiss her. Up close she learned he smelt like mint.
Keith muttered something before opening one eye and looking at her "there is something called sleep" he grumbled before shakig his head and pushing himself off the ground and into a half way standing position--he stretched. "how are you feeling this morning?"
"Better." Lindie pointed to her bed. "Get in, and sleep." she whispered looking into his eyes. As a quick decision she kissed him softly her hand coming up in the process and touched his cheek.
Keith's eyes widened slightly before he shook his head and pulled away, but not after he kissed her first. "im your counselor, we can't do that...." he said slowly with a shake of his head before falling onto her bed. He was asleep in seconds
Lindie sat on the floor leaning against her bed. She closed her eyes and sighed. It was stupid for her to kiss him. Thinking it could actually work. He did kiss her back though, maybe there is something there. Her lips tingled from the kiss, her fingers softly touching her lips.
Keith groaned something in his sleep as his heart rate started accelerating, his breathing grew harder as suddenly his eyes flashed open and his hands gripped onto the bed--they were now claws and his eyes were that of a wolf. The heightened moment of emotions had caused him to change half way and his chest rose and fell hard and quickly
Lindie cussed and stood up. Climbing on her bed her eyes widen and a sob escaped her through. Her hand tentivaly reached out and patted one of his claws. "Keith, please calm down."
Keith's breathing continued to go quickly but his hands shifted back into his regular long, strong fingers and his eyes returned to normal. Keith's heart continued to pound as he shook his head and buried his face in his hands while taking shaky breaths. "I'm sorry, you shouldn't have seen that."
Lindie wrapped her arms around him. "Keith, relax. It is fine. " she whispered messing round with his hair playfully. "Just take deep breathes." Lindie said everything gently. Feeling bad bow that she kissed him. "I won't kiss you again, im sorry." ()Next time he kisses her :p))
Keith shook his head and put his arm around her in a daze. "No, no don't worry about it." he said slowly "I get nightmares..." Keith let out a shaky breath and ran his free hand through his hair through his hair as his heart pounded. "That's why I take those caffine pills. Because I don't like sleeping." Keith shrugged as if it were no big deal.
Lindie Nodded. She crawled off her bed and sat on the chair. Her eyes wide and innocent and her blue hair acting as a curtain around her face. She hoped it hides her disappointment. Lindie closed her eyes.
Keith sighed and swallowed three more pills, he was done with sleeping. He didn't care if it killed him. Keith frowned "Hey smurfie, don't hide your face." he said while tucking her hair behind her ear. "Much better."
Lindie looked at him. Her eyes big and innocent, with tears streaming down her face. "what?" she managed to whimper out. Reaching out she wrappe her arms around him and buried her face in his neck.
