Okay for this game, the first person gives a normal object and the next person gives a detailed beautiful description.

P1: Baseball
P2: The baseball was old and worn, the covering faded and worn. You could tell it had been thrown countless times and spent a lot of time in the stiff leather of a baseball glove

and on and on!

I'll start: Tree

message 2: by Just Joe (new)

Just Joe (justjoe) The elegant willow's light green tendrils gently blew in the wind. You could tell that the tree was ancient due to its splitting dark brown bark that trailed in a circle around the huge base of the trunk. The vines of the tree hung down like a curtain, hiding the mystical wonders of the ancient secrets hidden within the old notches and crooks. The branches twirled in a symphony of angles, all good for a beautiful seat and an amazing view.
Initials lay engraved in the middle of the trunk, beautifully scrawled to look like JM + NS encircled by a heart. The initials were old and the tree seemed to have healed the small scar over the years, living on in the beauty of age.

How about you do a paragraph and then post a new object for the next person?

The grain of sand was small, it fit under the fingernail of my smallest finger. It was translucent and pinkish, it looked like a tiny shard of glass from a pink bottle. Look closer at it, and I can see the littlest imperfections, a minuscule scratch like a bad memory. I could feel the power of the ocean on my fingertip.

That was hard!!

Next: apple

message 6: by Just Joe (new)

Just Joe (justjoe) Sitting on a kitchen table I view the apple, looking it over as I see it's small bruises and scratches, signs of its abuse and handling. It has little specks on it, like any other able, covering its medium red surface. I pick up the odd little fruit and hear the delicious crunch as I sink my teeth into it. The surface was tough but broke easily under the strength of my teeth, it's sweet juices oozing into my mouth and down my chin, drip, drip, drip, crap! As the slightly yellow orange liquid evaporates from my skin it leaves a sticky mess.
I take off the cold chunk of juicy apple, leaving my strange teeth marks. A small gap between the front two teeth and then just a round whole. It was deep, penetrating the apples off white kind of green core to reveal dark brown seeds. The apple, now dead, sat cooly in my hands, and the crunchy white insides dried in the air.

Item: Teddy Bear

message 7: by Sarah (last edited Jul 07, 2012 07:04PM) (new)

Sarah (sarah1324) | 328 comments The teddy bear, my daughter's favorite, lays on the bed, brown and fuzzy. It is worn with many years of love. The equally tattered bow that was once red, is spattered with purple grape juice stains like on a tie-dye design. The bears eyes are black beads, staring blankly at the ceiling, slightly chipped of their paint. It sits propped up on the pillow as it waits for Cindy to return from school.

Next: Laundry soap

A field of clean white snow, the powder was like a fresh during of snow on a sunny say. It smelled lie your favorite shirt and looked pure and perfect. It poured in a snowy cascade falling over the clothes like a blizzard covering the clothesline dandruff. It bubbled in the water a trillion tiny bubbles that looked like mountains of ice and sounded like crisped rice with milk.

Next: fingernail

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

The fingernail lay on the ground, freshly ripped from the girls hand, bloody and disgusting. It sat there, vaguely translucent but too dirty, like cracked glass, like dusty old plastic. It seemed dirtier at one end than the other, where the dirt had gathered at a fingernails end. The dirty end also seemed jagged, as though the fingernail has been chewed on.

Next: Fire.

message 10: by Trish (new)

Trish (anaklusmos-riptide) | 20 comments The flame seemed to dance in my palm. I look at it smiling, realizing that I could now control fire. I open my other hand and stretch out my palm, I focus intently and a little flare sprouts up in my palm. I hold both of my palms a foot away from me, pointing it towards an old log and push. The log catches on fire and I gawk in amazement.

Next: love

message 11: by Just Joe (last edited Aug 12, 2012 08:21AM) (new)

Just Joe (justjoe) My heart is set a flutter as his blue eyes gaze at me. A smile spreads over my lips and seeps into my very being. I love this man with all of my heart and I can't help but feel my skin glowing. Heart rate increases, skin flushes, knees feel weak, stomach flutters with the feeling of a thousand butterflies trapped inside of it, and all for him. "I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride," and suddenly his lips find mine, it seals the deal and I am his forever, always complete.

The water shook and released a single bubble it sprouted from the bottom of the cup bursting with a nearly silent 'pop'. I raise my eyebrows in surprise, quickly overshadowed by a hiss of steam flying from the water. It swished and shivered, spun, and seized, then settled and was silent. It hissed once more before retreating to the depths.

Next: coffee

message 13: by Will (last edited Aug 12, 2012 12:16PM) (new)

Will | 9 comments Steam rose from the tan mug. The smell of freshly brewed coffee roamed the kitchen. A man walked in and poured himself a cup of the dark bitter liquid. As he left the kitchen he stumbled causing the mug to escape from his grasp, clanging on the floor as the coffe spilled out of the mug.

Next: Fear.

☽❣≾Кἆяἆ ☾இ☽ סℯἆด ฬỉฑcჩℯธセℯԻ≿❣☾ | 85 comments Fear
The fear that rose up inside of me, was strong. I wanted to run, run away from it, but I couldn't, I was frozen in fear. As it got closer, the fear got stronger, I was so scared, that no other emotion could fit in my head. I could think of nothing else. I tried to push my fear down, so that I might me able to run, but it was already to late, my fear had escalated so high up, that the only way it, would leave is if, the thing stalking towards me would disappear. With that not likely to happen, my fear kept rising, I could barely breathe. Soon I fear, that my own fear will swallow me whole. (which didn't help much to bring my fear down.) I could feel it's breathe on my legs, it was so close I could pet it, if i could move that is. I was just standing there stiff as a board, fear getting increasing high, with each breath that it took.
Fear is a is not to be played with, and it knew that. It knew exactly what it was doing, and as it slowly stepped back, it smile for it knew that it had accomplished what it cam for. It only stepped back a few times when I fell to the floor. Scared to death. So you see fear is not to be played with, it can be used to do the worst possible things. Fear is inescapable.

If there is one universal feeling in the world, it is the blackened despair of a broken heart. It tears into your soul and crushes everything you know. You are starved of oxygen, starved of everything you know. Your life is a building in a earthquake. Nothing exists but pain deep in your chest, there is no light in your black hole. ONly another love can mend your desperation.

Next:kiss

message 17: by Just Joe (new)

Just Joe (justjoe) Eyes close and suddenly I'm filled with warmth. Soft lips, they taste like honey. Her arms wrap around me and our chests bump together, smooshing them as we cling like the lovers we are. Her lips are sticky with lip gloss and the colors of our lipstick mingle to form a hot pink type of color. My fingers slid into her hair and her fingers tangle in my shoulder length curly hair. My heart is a flutter with love and happiness as our soft lips part slightly to whisper sweet nothing's into each other's ears.

Next: a bed

message 18: by Trish (new)

Trish (anaklusmos-riptide) | 20 comments I look at the bed we once shared. So full of memories and passion. I remember it was there where we spent our first night together. He swept me off the ground, threw me on the bed and covered me with blankets. We were so happy then. I see the little hearts we used to draw on the covers with markers, it makes me weep. I find the spot where he spilled some of his hot chocolate when we were watching a scary movie, I laughed at him for hours. Thinking of the moments we once shared pains me deeply. I think to myself that I can no longer share this bed with him, no longer feel his arms around me as we sleep. I cry, thinking that this bed, with all of its doodle hearts and spilled chocolate stains are all I have left of him.

next: smile

message 19: by Allison (new)

Allison (allibean) | 122 comments Her perfect mouth curves into that adorable crooked smile, showcasing the deep dimple in her left cheek. I can't help but smile back even as my heart skips a beat. Pink tinted lips, pressed together, hide her slightly crooked teeth. I look into her eyes to keep myself from kissing her right then and there. Big, blue and beautiful, they're crinkling at the corners, slightly squinted with the widening of her smile. She noticed my stare...
I glance down shyly and once again find myself staring at her lips, still smiling, warm and inviting and cherry flavored. I can't stop the inevitable this time, even if I wanted to. I kiss her.

♬ ☮ Priya ♀ ♏ {Smoke and Starlight} ☠ ☯ (darkskies) | 9 comments The prison was a cold and dark place. The sickly gray walls made one feel trapped and lost, the continuous sound of the dripping water made one feel stuck in an endless existence of a loop. The prisoner sat inside a small, stifling cell, his eyes set on a rat in the corner. The rat, who got stuck in a trap hours ago, had long given up on escaping. It was awaiting it's sentence in an almost eerie, accepting silence. So much alike the prisoner with his blank stare.

Trish (anaklusmos-riptide) | 20 comments As the previous contestant makes it off the stage I hear my name called. This is it. Make it or break it. If I lose this I lose everything, if I win I could possibly start to build a better life for Janie and I. The pressure, the stakes, her life, they are all in my hands. I go up the stage and slowly take in my surroundings, I take a deep breath and bow. Then I started to dance. I danced like I knew it was my last time, like I knew that Janie's life depended on this one dance. When the contest was over and my name was announced as first place, I was ecstatic.

Just Joe (justjoe) Creepy kitty :P

There lay the body, cold and pale. "it's her" I said softly. I as brought to identify the body of the girl who drowned. The girl being my sister. Her hair was a dark brown and wavy, very long. It used to hang down to her waist before she cut it to just below her busting chest. She looked so sad with her eyes closed and her lips set in a permanent frown it seemed. He flips used to be a nice pink like mine but now they were an ugly blue white color. Her arms were a pasty white like the rest of her body and lead down to her nicely shaped and painted nails. Each one had a different design that she had spent hours trying to perfect. Her ears still had those cute little peace earings and in the second hole was a stud which she had just gotten done. Her pale, lifeless flesh was smooth and hardly old. She was only 16. She had no blemishes, it wasn't her time, she still had a full life to live! Why had she died so young?

Item: piano

message 24: by Trish (new)

Trish (anaklusmos-riptide) | 20 comments I looked at the piano. That old thing. It has been in my family for years. With its old mahogany wood, and the keys, they were so brown and when I pressed a key "ding," it said, in a deep tone. I touched its wood and remember my grandfather, smiling. I still remember from when I was a kid and my grandfather used to play songs for me. I suddenly regret not agreeing for him to teach me. I never wanted to play it, I just wanted to hear him playing his pretty pretty music, watching him each time he pressed a key. The songs he knew were just so mournfully beautiful that I never wanted to stop listening. I suddenly wanted to be a kid again, listening to my grandfather play his beautiful songs.
