Amelia Death had been working for a doctorate in Physics and Epidemiology, so when the news got hold of a "zombie" like creature, she was airlifted to Alaska from Arizona to try to make sure it did not spread. They had gotten some of the disease in a test tube, and Amelia Death was studying it when a lab accident occurred and the majority of the testing facility exploded, causing the disease to spread into her. Fortunately for her, it was so little disease that she was able to use medicine to slow and eventually pause, but not stop the effects. She carries the medicine wherever she is.

2010
Jon Fox and his father lived happily in Tucson. Jon was attending Townsend Middle School when they were sent home due to a zombie-like creature spotted in the area. Jon's father picked him up and they went for ice cream then went home to check the news. They never went outside of there home unless they were going to get supplies. One day Jon's father was coming back inside with some food when 3 zombies bomb rushed him. Jon sat and watched his father being killed, with tears rolling down his cheeks. He took his father's bow, killed the zombies and headed out of town.

Vanessa and her father are in the front seat singing to break even by the script. Her little sister is in the backseat trying to sing with them but not knowing the word. Vanessa laughs. "I'm gonna be a star one day daddy," she tells her father. He smiles and pulls into the garage. "Now go take a shower ya stink from soccer practice," he told her jokingly. Vanessa fakes a shower and when she gets out there blood on the floor of the kitchen. Her little sister had a nasty bite mark in her neck and her father is on the floor dead. She screams and gulps pulling her fathers gun out from a drawer she turns around shooting a zombie in the head.

A man was spotted in Alaska who looked like he was a corpse going around and trying to bight people. He was taken in by the police, and strangely died a day later of unknown causes.
