Appearance:
Eva has wavy, dark brown hair that falls slightly above the mid of her back. She always has her hair parted to the side and usually has it up in a pony tail to keep it out of her face and out of the way. She has naturally tan skin showing her Native American ancestry. Her eyes can be described as the color of dark chocolate, if you want to know what she is thinking all you have to do is look into her eyes, they reveal everything. She is quite tall standing at 5'11" and is built like a runner with long, toned legs and slim torso.
Personality: Eva is quiet which makes her seem mysterious and secretive but truthfully she is just shy. Eva is very kind and sweet if you can get her to talk to you. She gets nervous easily when she is around strangers and out of habit will often bite her bottom lip. Though Eva seems soft and fragile she can hold her own against anyone, thanks to the 10 years of martial arts she has taken. Eva may be nice but that doesn't mean anything when it comes to those who threaten those she cares about or even people she has never met, she will simply punch you a few times and say sorry each time she does. Eva is sensitive when it comes to her past and hardly ever talks about it. Eva's grandfather was a very superstitious man, he believed in all the stories and Eva is like him in that sense; she can be slightly superstitious as well. Only her brother knows but Eva is deathly afraid of fire, if she sees a large enough flame she freezes up in terror.
History: Eva and her twin brother were both born with their powers though neither of their parents had abilities but their grandfather on their father's side did. Eva and her brother assumed it must have skipped a generation since their dad was an average man. Their father was a kind man but a jealous one none the less, he was jealous of his children being given these gifts while he had nothing. Their mother had a very hard time dealing with her children being different and left them when Eva and her brother were 10 but after a year of learning to cope with it she returned and treated them just like any mother would treat her children. They had happy life at home though their father was almost never their but they had never seemed to mind though Eva did miss him. Their school life was much harder than their home life, Eva was always bullied because she had made the mistake of telling someone she thought was a friend about her powers and the girl told the whole school she was crazy. Her brother protected her from most of it but he wasn't always there and she had to learn to deal with it herself. When she heard of the school she immediately wanted to go so her and her brother started there their freshman year.
Power(s): Omnipresence- the ability to appear anywhere and everywhere but not actually be there.

Kai has sandy blonde hair that is cut short. Kai is much lighter than his sister and has a very light tan. Like his skin he also has a soft light brown color for his eyes rather than her dark brown. He is well built and quite strong from all his years of playing football. Kai is the same height as Eva at 5'11" and has long legs as well.
Personality: Kai is a nice guy who is very compassionate. He is over protective of his sister but other wise is a pretty laid back person. He tries not to stress and think positively about everything. He isn't shy and loves to talk to people. He is almost always smiling and laughing, he loves to make people laugh and is good at making people feel better when they are sad. He is always up to having some fun and is what you could call a trouble maker. When he is bored he will randomly prank people to entertain himself. Kai is a rule breaker, his philosophy is "If it doesn't bend, break it."

Evangelina is somewhat pretty if you look closely enough. She has long black hair that is usually tied into a messy bun and intriguing amber coloured eyes, with shots of electric blue running through them. She is around 5'2 so blends in with the crowd easily. She is all angles, with a flat stomach and high cheekbones and has what some people might describe as porcelain skin which is soft and easily damaged.

Background:
Evie came from a wealthy family but when she was alone her father would abuse her physically and mentally. She has horrific scars on her back where she was continually whipped and her mental scars run deep, she also turned to self harm and always has long sleeves on to cover up the scars. She was taken to the hospital by her mother after she had heard 'Voices' in her head, these were actually her powes beginning to kick in. She was placed in the mental ward where soon after she shape shifted for the first time and after this she was brought here. Evie soon discovered after coming here that her great grandmother had also come here that that's how she had gotten her powers.

Personality: Due to her fathers abuse she has learnt to stand up for herself and will never let anybody treat her like dirt again. She has a very fiery temper that flares at the slightest thing and she refused to be wrong. She is stubborn and stands for what she believes in and doesn't care what anybody else thinks. If her temper gets to a certain point she shifts into something that can protect her, for example, a wolf. She is passionate and history, Woodwork and biology but also loves sports.

Description: Sam is a normal guy with average good looks. He has an almost rugged, outdoorsy sort of look with ice blue eyes and dirt-colored, short hair that's his own, and one he pulls off in his own right. He's about average height for his age, and looks like he is finally filling in the gangly limbs and body resulting from a fairly forgiving puberty. He has a low voice that is most often used to comfort others or offer them solace  in times of need. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to help others. He may not be a born leader, but that's why there are sidekicks. Sam's biggest fear is being alone. Needless to say, he discovered his potential as a sidekick very early on. In fact, that one solution solved two problems: Being a sidekick meant he would never be alone, having a partner at almost all times, and being a sidekick, he would never have to try to lead those who did not wish to follow. He is very happy as a sidekick.

History: Sam grew up in a fairly normal family, at least in one no weirder than most. That is, until he was running away from some mean boys at his junior high and discovered he could run fast. Really fast. The discovery left him elated. He had always thought himself as average, for he was. Average looks, average at sports, average grades, average family... But his parents did not see their son's abilities as the gift he did. See, his parents were very religious. After he discovered his abilities, when he was fourteen, they thought he was a demon pretending to be their son and kicked him out. Fortunately, A.S.H. picked him up before he could get in too much trouble and he has lived there since.

Powers: His powers rely on food and solar energy. This has led to some jokes about him secretly being a plant. On cloudy, rainy days he tends to be more sluggish, and spends most of his time eating to compensate for the loss of sun. The energy he gets from food is less than he gets from the sun. He can only store up so much energy, though he can gain energy at the same time as he uses it.

» Super-speed: The ability to move at speeds much faster than a normal human.

Description: Kat is a pretty in a very common way, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her golden blonde waves of hair fall to a few inches above her elbow; though it is beautiful curled, she rarely does so, simply wearing it down in its natural waves. Of about average height, she has a surprisingly muscular body for a girl of her age, in addition to a few pleasant curves. She has always been fairly active, at her parents' request. She's played some tennis, soccer, and tried  basketball, but the only activities she could stick to has been swimming and dance, though she has not participated extensively in either. Her speaking voice is warm, mid-ranged like that of a mezzo-soprano, and pleasant to listen to.

Personality: Kat is not very personable. She is shy, very smart, and has spent a little too much time with her computers and other little toys. Even as a child she was slightly odd, but less so. Few words pass between her lips, but when they do, they are sincere and not always tactful. Under her shy, reclusive exterior, Kat has a flaming temper and an easily excitable passion for life. Sadly, she hasn't felt comfortable around enough people to allow them to get close enough to discover that vibrant side of her.

History: Kat has always liked technology. Computers, phones, iPods, tvs... Anything electronic, really. Since a young age, she's been able to work the tv and computer better than either of her parents. By the time she was thirteen, she could fix any electronic item in the house. A year ago, she was up in her room modifying her computer and accidentally shocked herself. The shock knocked her out, destroyed half the wiring in her house, and shut down her small county's electricity for three hours. When Kat woke up, she quickly discovered her abilities, which initially freaked her out. She is slowly getting used to her new capabilities.

Powers: Kat basically has Technology. Like electricity, her powers will go nowhere if she is surrounded by insulators (such as rubber and wood) though conductors (such as glass and water) will allow it to pass through. Her technopathy has a very limited range, she can only mess with the technology in the same room as her, or one room over.
» Electrokinesis: The ability to manipulate electricity/electrical fields.
» Technopathy: The ability to manipulate technology manifested as a special form of electrical-telekinetic manipulation.

Family: Kat is an only child, and her parents always had very high expectations for her. They have a strong relationship and they are still very supportive of her.

Skills: Anything involving electronics or technology. Hacking any system is a breeze. Picks things up very quickly.

Other: Always wished she had a sister or an older brother.

Wow, I am terribly sorry! I thought I had read through all the powers, but I obviously missed that. If you want me to change that, I can, really.

I could remove her and save her for another super-hero roleplay, I tend to do quite a few of those. Maybe they're distantly related or he can help her figure out her powers, but I can at least roleplay her powers differently than how you do his.

Yeah I was going to point that out as well, but I think that if the powers aren't exactally the same it would work out somehow.

BTW I haven't updated in a while, but I like all of the new and thurough characters!!!

Personality: Evil is one way to put it. He's rude and cruel. Just plain mean. He might look nice but he has a black soul. Hurt has turned him over to darkness. He is intimidating and menacing.
History: He was born with a small mind defect that caused him to have uncontrolled rage. During his testing to see the problem, a vial of injection for a supposed "cure" was given to him. It caused him to have seizures and pain through out his body like he was on fire. He became cliniclly dead. When he was brought back, he killed all the doctors around him simply by touching them.
Power(s): From a light touch, electricity shots through his skin, stunning the person's heart and nervous system.

Family: His family gave him to the doctors for testing and after he escaped the confinment the government had put him in, he found and murdered them.

They wanted to create a super soilder. They almost got the out come they wanted, until Aaron truned against them. He was just so outraged, just in so much pain...he killed so many people. Now he's simply corrupt.

Appearance: Vic is a fairly average looking person. Average height, kind of skinny in build. Has a mess of dark black hair and fair skin that fit with his angular features. His most interesting feature however is his eyes, which are a deep red that many might mistaken for a dark brown.
Personality: Victor is manipulative, rude, and always seems to be able to get into your head. He has a tendency to bring out the worst in people and is a bonafide sadist. He hates all the ugly thoughts that people have and dislikes it when people try to interact with him because he knows what they're really thinking and dislikes being pitied or toyed with.
History: Victor's powers awoke due to his bad history of being surrounded by abusive relatives. His mother drank and his father gambled. His brother was a drug dealer and he felt such hatred for everything around him that one day he killed his family with his mind alone. Since then he has always been able to hear the worst thoughts from everybody, though he isn't too sure anymore if it is actually him reading their minds or his hatred for people working against him.
Power(s): A psionicist, though his power only works if he fulfills certain conditions, those being:
-He can only control one person at a time
-He must know their name and have seen their face
-To execute more powerful abilities he must physically touch the person

Marcus has shoulder length black hair that he keeps tied back under his hood which he always has up. His skin is unnaturally pale, but his eyes are black as coal and are completely devoid of whites. He wears a long black coat with a deep hood, long pants, black boots, and glves backed with blackened metal segments. an x-shaped scar crosses the center of his lips.
Personality:Marcus is quiet because he must be, but he is friendly and loyal to those he can make friends with.
History: Marcus's family was driven to ground and trapped in a cave system by a terrorist group. as his family paniced and died around him, Marcus sought a way out of the cave. He struck the rocks again and again asking the earth to let them free. All of a sudden he could feel the voice of the stone, and he coppied it. At once, the stone shattered and he was able to leave the cave. But the earth had taken a price for its gift, and the light of the surface was too much for him and drove him to the shadows where his ture gifts resided.
Power(s): resonence of frequencies, vibrations,travel through shadows.

Making a Character.

Name: Cedric Paellax

Personality:
Due to the instability of his powers, Cedric has long ago learned how to mask and control his emotions, giving him a slightly "apathetic" feel. Along with this Cedric tends to be more along the sarcastic side, which sometimes can out as being quite rude, though Cedric doesn't always mean it that way. Tending to keep to himself, Cedric comes out with a sort of aloof mysterious sort of look. Which only ends up having the oppisite of the desired effect, and making people tend to come to him then rather stay away.

Beneath that rough and harsh exterior that Cedric has learned to put up, there is something deeper. Inside, Cedric is a friendly person with a deep desire for companionship, a companionship he has only seen and never truly experienced. Instead he has only experience the reality of loneliness, and a world that labeled him as an outcast. This has made Cedric skeptical, weary, and even a little bit un-trusting or paranoid.

Cedric has a curious mind, open to new possibilities, and even impossibilities. Hungry for knowledge the unknown, or for the delicate touch of fantasy and adventure. To Cedric, knowledge has a feel, no, a flavor to it, a flavor that only makes Cedric crave for it more, an addiction of his mind. Though curiosity is always a could thing to have, sometimes it can lead you into dangerous places, or even down the wrong paths. You must heed your curiosity, because sometimes that door is not locked to keep you out, but to keep something else in.

There is always a delicate balance within Cedric's heart, one that could collapse easily if tampered with. The first balance is the balance of control over his emotions. It is this control that keeps his unstable powers at bay, for sometimes it is far easier to not use a power, then it is to fight for control over it. Another is the boundary between right and wrong, black and white, the path of justice and the path of corruption. Cedric, whom stands on the middle of these two things, is always at a danger of being swayed the wrong way, or being persuaded down the wrong path...

Cedric is a young man of many things, in a world where he has never seemed to belong.

History:
Cedric has had his "gift" for as long as he could remember, which isn't saying much, for most of Cedric's childhood is a blur. As far back as Cedric can remember, he has always been by himself, simply wandering from one place to another. Never a home to call his own, or a family to care for him, just himself. Cedric never stayed in any one place for long, his so called gift usually made sure of that fact.

Cedric has always been a fairly curious and nimble minded fellow, and, despite his history, his level of education is quite higher then one might expect. Whenever Cedric found himself in a new place, one of the first places he would go to was the Libraries. For, Cedric could never resist the temptation that lurked beneath the pages of these books. Cedric read many things, both fictional and nonfiction. That and Cedric was able learn through simply observing, and when you are by yourself, that is a trait that will take you far. When asked about his education, Cedric would simply answer by telling you he was "Home-Schooled."

Yet, despite his quickness to learn and adapt, Cedric never seemed to be able to contain or control his wild abilities. Instead of being able to simply call upon his powers at whim and manipulate them, Cedric's powers were more, well, aloof. They seemed to react to emotion and unconscious wills, which, as one might guess, can be quite hazardous at times with devastating results. It's cause of this that Cedric has developed his unique personality.

It was only recently during Cedric's wandering that he happened to come on to this school. Well, it was more accurate to say he was indulged and introduced into the school. Invited by a curious man, who seemed to find an intriguing new future student before him. It was during one of Cedric's last outbreaks of power that he was discovered, and if it wasn't for this man the outcome of that event would have been much more... fatal.

Now that you know the gist, or the main idea of the story that brought young Cedric here, now it is time to see where to will lead, and what twists it might take along it's way.

Power: Subjective Reality. Quite unstable, Cedric has very little control over this ability.
Rank: Cedric is new to the school.
Family: Never knew any.
Skills: Cedric clever, and quick to learn new things. Agile on his feet, and has fairly could skills when it comes to self-defense. That and maybe a few "talents" one picks up when they live on the streets.
Other: As you might have guessed, Cedric tends not to use his powers for fear of what they might do.

Personality: Alixa tends to be quiet and reserved, and keeps to herself. She is one of those quiet guitar player girls. She is really smart and excells in any school setting, her quiet is just a mask of observance, not alot gets past her. She has a nack for knowing when people are feeling sad or upset and for helping them. She is used to being "Daddy's girl" and getting used to school was hard fro her.
History: Her mother is a world renown singer and her father a country singer/song writer/genius. Her mother walked out when Alixa was four and has paid miminal attention to her or her father since, though her parents are still married. Her father doted on her, and tought her every thing he knew, she exceeded in all of it. She grew of on a Montana horse ranch her whole life and lived in a small town without many friends. She had a dog since she was little who died just before she left for her first year at A.S.H. This devistated her and occupied her mind for much of the first year, so needless to say she didn't make many friends. This year she hopes to make more friends, and since almost no one remembers she was there she can pull off being new. Alix sees this year as her new start and wants to make it great.... or better than last year.
Power(s): Enchanting (like a siren, she enchants you with her voice), can master/manipulate any music/al instrument. (So pretty much her powers come from her musical genetics being super intensified)

History: Doesn’t know biological parents. She has been moved to foster family to faster family. No one wants a kid that’s different and Taneya is an element user, she can control fire. She came in to her powers at thirteen, just after puberty. She hasn’t stayed in one place for more then a week after that. When she turned eighteen she left the orphanage went to college.

Story: Taneya likes to Sleuth, and she soon found out that the government was making people disappear. People who talk openly about something weird like, werewolves and vampires really do exist, and the next day they are no where to be found. So Taneya did some investigating, she didn’t find anything so she decided to go to the source. She didn’t know exactly where that was so she choose to go to a place known as Area 51. She snuck into Area 51, just barely making it past the guards. She was looking through documents when they found her. She used her fire powers to fight them off as long as she could, but the caught her and sent her to the super hero academy.
