I vote for Congo because I've never read it - I just finished reading up on Michael Crichton and am more intrigued than ever about this wonderful writer and person we lost way too soon.
I've always loved Michael Crichton...I've read a lot of his stuff and Congo is one of my very favorites. It is very sad that he has passed away.
Yes, I have read Congo. It's a decent read. I dont think it's one of Crichton's best, but it wasnt bad.
Here's a slightly off-the-wall suggestion... Jungle setting, plenty of action, gritty and at times gruesome. I remember it as a great advertisement that there is nothing good or glamorous that comes from warfare.Chickenhawk by Robert Mason
"Robert Mason's bestselling account of his service as a chopper pilot in Vietnam--a no-holds-barred autobiography that reveals the war's shattering legacy in the heart of a returning vet."
I've always had a fascination with books about Military History. Chickenhawk sounds like an interesting one to add to my TBR list. Thanks Anthony for the suggestion!
