I would love to know!! What was your favorite character? Or favorite part of the story.

Ok, I will start the ball rolling on this one. Obviously I am very attached to the main characters, Gabriel and Isabelle.

Gabriel is basically everything you could want in a man without, I hope, being too cliche. He has so many good qualities even though he is this being who has to do horrible thigs to survive. He is something of a paradox and we will find out just what he is truly made of in the next book.

Isabelle is a strong woman. Overcoming something that was devestating in her life, and even though she just cannot seem to catch a break--after all her lover is a vampire, she is being hunted, and all the people she cares about keep being hurt--she doesn't give up. She doesn't wallow in self pity, she just keeps fighting. And I love her for it.

With all of these things, and the fact we will be dealing with these characters for two more books you would think they would be my favorites, and I suppose they are. But as I wrote another emerged as a close second, the Detective Inspector Joseph Helson. He became very life-like to me and I found it very easy to write scenes in which he was in--he sort of took on a life of his own. I really, really like how he turned out and I can see him leaning against the brick wall smoking his cigar in that dark trainstation or talking with Dr. Phillips in the alleyway. He is something right out of every crime drama, be it Sherlock Holmes or Law and Order and I am looking forward to writing more about him in HUNTED.
