Everlasting discussion

I read the first five books ages ago... Can anyone tell me what happens in the first five books. I just ordered Everlasting, finally!

Okay, I'm actually surprised at how much I remember, since it's been quite a while since I read these.. But here are my really brief summaries:

EVERMORE
We're introduced to Ever and learn about her past. She used to live in Oregon and was one of the most popular girls at school. An accident happens and her entire family is killed but her. She now lives with her aunt in California but is a social outcast. She talks to the ghost of her kid sister Riley, sees people's auras and is annoyingly telepathic to all around her. She only has two best friends, Raven and Miles. While at school she meets Damen and realizes how different he is from everyone else. Although she tries to deny her feelings, she realizes how much she's fallen for Damen after getting to know him. A past relation of Damen's comes around causing Ever to question if she should even bother getting to know Damen at all. Later he explains how he's immortal and why he's always known her even before they met. Already fallen in love, she takes the ultimate step and becomes an immortal just like him.

BLUEMOON
Damen introduces Ever to Summerland. He teaches her how to control not only her telepathy but also how to unlock and hardness her new powers as well. A new kid comes to school named Roman, who has a hidden past history with Damen. Ever has a gut feeling of not liking Roman, which we later find to be great instinct. The whole school, including Ever's best friends and even Damen have dramatically changed causing Ever to be completely isolated. She has to travel to Summerland to find the answers of fixing everything that Roman has altered. Given the altimatum of going back to before her family was killed, or saving Damen, Ever makes the worst decision and tries to go back and save her family instead. She can't get past the feeling of needing Damen and although she's able to save her family- in the end, the past can only be altered, but never fixed. After almost killing Damen by leaving him, she's desperate to help save him and doesn't take the advice from the twins from Summerland (Romy and Rayne). With an unfortunate decision made, she lands up having Damen drink a bad elixur that causes any swap of DNA from the two of them to kill either of them instantly.

SHADOWLAND
Ever hadn't told Damen what exactly happened when she came back to save him from Roman.. So she finally fesses up when he questions her distance and they seek to find the antidote to their ordeal. This of course causes Damen to think about what exactly happens to immortals when they "die." Damen finds out that you end up in the Shadowland. Horrified by his lack of consideration and bad judgment his entire personality and lifestyle changes. Also, Romy and Rayne can no longer get back to Summerland after what happened with Damen, so he and Ever become their new guardians. Ever is distraught over all the changes and how they cannot get close physically, so she gets a job at a surfer place where she can use her telepathic powers she's always hidden. A guy who works at the shop named, Jude, comes along and Ever has a feeling of a connection to him. He agrees to help her with her powers since Damen has slowly began to stop- causing Ever to question what the connection to Jude really is. Roman also comes back into the picture, this time going after another close person to Ever- Raven. Although Damen has explained the shadowland to Ever, she can't handle seeing her best friend die and turns Raven into an immortal.

DARK FLAME
After Ever tries to explain the immortality life to Raven, she's left frustrated with how carelessly Raven acts towards it. Raven now is a huge risk for others finding out about their immortality. Then while working at the surf shop, Ever dives even further into black Magick she's discovered and begins reading more to get back at Roman once and for all. She unknowingly binds herself to Roman while trying to use the magick in the opposite effect. Now she cant get him out of her head and craves for him in all the ways she wishes she wouldn't. To make matters worse she thinks letting herself get close enough to Roman can help him give the antidote to help her and Damen. Of course Roman realizes what has happened and takes full advantage at trying to seduce to her inner dark desires. Unfortunately Raven has fallen in love with Roman and notices the extra attention Ever has been giving Roman and gets extremely jealous as well as upset. While avoiding Raven's rage, Ever tries to get to Roman's soft spot. She almost accomplishes this, but Jude throws everything off knocking over the antidote Roman was close to giving. Roman is finally killed off, but they also no longer have the antidote to fix their situation either.

NIGHT STAR
Raven still can't understand or get over why they had to kill Roman. So she plots for revenge by not only taking Ever's one true love down but also Ever's second closest male counterpart, Jude. Escaping to the only place Raven cannot get to, Ever travels Summerland to find the answers for all her questions. She finds out a deeper secret about Damen which unlocks the mystery of why she felt so connected to Jude. Jude has actually been around throughout all of Ever's past lives, and was really who she would have ended up with in each life. However, Damen stepped in on every life of hers taking Ever for himself. With the new found knowledge and new powers she's obtained while in Summerland, she then has to decide if saving herself and those close to her is worth sending her best friend to the Shadowland. Although it pains Ever to know, she realizes that Raven will never give up wanting revenge and must stop the monster Raven has sadly become.


If you really don't want to read the books again, but want a little more info, I'd look up summaries for each book. You can find them all over online. But I hope this still helps refresh your memory regardless! :)
