The Book Monsters discussion

Hi everyone! I'm hoping you might be able to help me. I'm trying to put together a reading list for a challenge and I'm kind of coming up blank.

I need books that either (1) take place during a specific historical event (ie Pearl Harbor as opposed to general WWII) or (2) feature a real person as a main character.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I'm open to pretty much anything. Thanks!

is the first one that comes to mind. This one deals with Catherine Howard, Henry VIII 5th queen. Although she is not the main character, the story focuses on her rise to queendom.
