Ralae ran through town, her barefeet pounding on the dirt road. All she had to do was get away from The Pack. She just had to make it to the big maple tree.

Damian watched a girl around his age run by with a pack of older, muscular girls and boys chasing behind her. He didn't like the looks of it so he fallowed them.

Arrow walks out of her house. Gotta get to training she thinks as she yawns. She slips her knives into her pockets and starts walking toward the training center.

Right then she noticed a large group of people running after one girl. There was also a boy, I think his name is Damian, behind them. What the heck is going on? She thought walking after them. If I'm late for training, I'm late.

"Where ya goin', Rae?" Oren called after her. "You owe me somethin'!"

"Leave me alone!" Ralae yelled, running towards the grove of willow trees at the edge of town. If she climbed a tree they couldn't touch her.
