Hi, everyone. Thought I would update you on my works-in-progress.

-- Hugs and Hisses: First draft finished in late March 2012. To be honest, I'm just not happy with it. I've got it on the back burner for now.
-- In The Eye of The Storm: Passed the 30K word mark and it's chugging along.
-- Through the Opera Glass: A little something each week, either flash fiction or short stories. I look forward to this being out in late 2012/early 2013.
-- The latest is a novella, The Rock Star in The Mirror (Or, How David Bowie Ruined My Life). This one is *flying* out of my pen and I hope to have it out in early to mid-August. In this tale, small-town guy Joe becomes a David Bowie impersonator to impress a woman.

"The Rock Star in the Mirror" is officially a novelette. I'm waiting to hear from my editor for when she can take it on, but we're in process!

Hi, everyone. I'm working on a new piece (no title as yet, but I'm leaning toward "His Beloved Infidel"). It's historical fiction, set in Paris against the backdrop of the Islamic Revolution in Iran (1978-79). I'm really fired up about this piece, and look forward to sharing it when it's done.

Hi, friends. Over the weekend, first drafts for both His Beloved Infidel and In The Eye of The Storm were completed. Look for publication news in the weeks to come. Right now, it's editing time.

I'm now in final edits on In The Eye of The Storm, working with the cover designer for Brief Interludes (a paperback that will include all of the stories in Around the World in 80 Pages, as well as The Rock Star in the Mirror and His Beloved Infidel), and working on an alternate history called "Two Days in June." Busy, busy!

I'm still working on edits for In The Eye of The Storm (I can see the light at the end of the tunnel). I'm also working on a new Regency romance, Clytie's Caller. I'll keep you all posted.

I am currently in edits on "Seen Through the Phantom's Eyes," an omnibus edition of both POTO novels and the accompanying award-winning short story collection, "Through the Opera Glass."

Currently working on "Bayou Fire," my first full-length historical paranormal. It's set in both modern-day and 1830s New Orleans.
