I would say that if it is NOT sold in the same pack with the same ISBN as the book, then it is a standalone DVD and not allowed in on GR. In the same way we allow Disney Jewelery Box and Book sets to stay

Agreed. Movies are not allowed on GR, regardless of whether they have an ISBN.

too bad I think... having the movies here would allow more discussions, interest, create more buzz and also make it easier to find the book if you've seen the movie and vice versa. Would it be possible to revisit the policy guidelines? The boundaries are blurring more and more between physical printed books and ebooks, audio books, you tube, movies, and all sorts of products in between. Just my two cents worth.
I hope not personally. I'm on this site to be around other people who enjoy printed (even if it is printed digitally) entertainment. Not saying there is anything wrong with people who like movies, I love them, this is just not the place for that (to me).

This DVD features a short film and a reading from the author's Erri De Luca works. It has a ISBN code. It doesn't seem to be sold in the same package with a book.
The user that created the page asks if it's ok on Goodreads: I've looked into the Librarian Manual and it would seem no: http://www.goodreads.com/librarian_ma...
