Mikayla walked down the sidewalk looking at the different shops. She already had bags in her hands, maybe too many. It was a pretty warm and sunny day. She is wearing this outfit: http://www.polyvore.com/cotton_candy/...

Lilly's heels made a clacking sound as she made her way towards the fro-yo place. Her long blonde hair moved against her backpack and her body seemed to bounce with every step. Peach always brought out her tan, and she was rocking a peach button down and high waisted shorts today. Her black sunglasses with the curly pattern on the side sat on top of her head.

Makayla turned towards her car and put her bags inside before making her way to get frozen yogurt. Her chestnut colored hair, amazingly non-frizzed, even for the heat. She got a cup of strawberry fro-yo with gummy bears on top.

Lexi walked down the street with a few shopping bags. She accidentally tripped and embarrassed herself.

Lilly sat at a table eating her chocolate fro-yo which was covered in fruity pebbles. She looked around the shop and saw a few familiar faces. There was Makayla her next door neighbor, and a few guys from her bio class. Makayla and her had never been the best of friends. Ever since Lilly first moved here with her family a couple of years ago, they tried to avoid each other. Lilly always thought she was a tad bit stuck up.

Makayla saw Lilly. She didn't really hate her, but it wasn't like they were friends. She gave her a small smile and returned to eating her yogurt.

Lilly smirked and finished her yogurt. She got up and threw away her trash, she sat back down and scrolled through her twitter timeline on her white iPhone 4s.

Ryder walked in town square aimlessly. He passed the music shop and stopped in front...

Makayla ate slowly, enjoying her frozen yogurt. She chewed on a gummy bear before popping another bite into her mouth. Today's plan was to hang out and shop in the Town Center. She ate another gummy bear and looked out the window in the shop.

Ryder walked inside and went straight to the guitars. He picked up a nice Fender he could never afford and hooked himself up to an amp. He turned it up as loud as it could go and started strumming. Music was blasting and he was sure it would be heard outside.

Makayla finished and threw away her cup. She walked outside and looked down the sidewalk, deciding which way to go. She heard music as her phone buzzed. She pulled it out and quickly replied before putting it back in her pocket.

Lilly grabbed her phone and walked towards Sephora, on the way she ran into Baxter. "Oh sorry." She said softly and looked at her heels.

Ryder took a deep breath and finished his song. He put the guitar down longingly promising himself he would get one eventually. He thanked the owner and pocketed a handful of picks when the guys back was turned before walking toward the door, but then decided to go to a different guitar. He started playing again, thinking to himself that he would leave after this song.

Makayla walked down towards Nordstrom, the direction in which the music was coming. She was planning on buying a jacket she wanted. Her phone buzzed again and she walked down the sidewalk as she replied.

Lilly nodded. "Um, are you from around here? I've never seen you before." She said and stuffed her manicured hands into the pockets of her shorts.

"Oh you must be my new neighbor?" She said in her soft tone of voice. She forced a smile, she always had problems meeting people for the first time. Being shy was one of her insecurities.

He finally finished and sighed, telling himself he would probably get kicked out if he wasn't done. Normally he wouldn't care, but this was his favorite store. Maybe he would go make mayhem elsewhere.

Makayla turned around the corner and ran into Lilly again. "Oh, sorry Lilly," she said, stepping away, fumbling on her heel as she ran into a deep crack behind her.

Makayla smiled at the boy. She fixed her heel and brushed her hair out of her face before stepping around them.

"Oh, well if you see me just say hi." Lilly said noticing Makyala's fall. She held out a hand helped her up.

"Thanks Lilly," she said, taking her hand. "I guess I'll see you later," she said, waving and opening the door to Nordstrom.

Ryder walked out of the music store, blindly, and nearly toppled over Lexi. "Well hello there." He said, "Sorry about that, I'm not really thinking right now." He laughed, "Who are you?"

Lilly nodded and faced Baxter.

"I'm Lexi and it's fine,"She said.

Makayla looked fir the jacket she wanted and ended up getting a whole outfit. Her closet at home was already extensive and her parents never really cared what she bought, knowing her style was like theirs, country club classy. She smiled as she handed her credit card over to pay.

Ryder smiled. "I'm Ryder. Do I know you? You look familiar, but with different hair, which I might add is very stunning."

"I don't think so and Thank you,"She said.

"Your welcome" Ryder said back, slipping his hands in his pocket, feeling the picks he just stole.

Lexi smiled.

Makayla walked out of Nordstrom and made her way to Ralph Lauren, buying a red polo and a pair of white shorts, adding in a tan colored belt.

Standing there in silence, Ryder was starting to feel uncomfortable, but the girl was cute and she looked as if she had depth. He just had to get her talking ... "Do you like music?"

"Yeah ,"She said.

Ryder smiled more to himself than her. It was a start and music was his favorite thing to talk about. "What kind?"

"Well I like Gothic metal and metal and some rock,"She said.

"Thats fun." He said, then asked, laughing slightly, "Do you like the kind that the singer sounds like a monster?"

"Not really,"She said.

"Well, I guess thats good, those ones tend to give me nightmares." He replied, adding darkly "Although I think I've been through worse than monster music..."

Makayla looked at her phone. Her parents were having the new family in the neighborhood over for dinner and she had to get ready, since it was supposed to be fancy.
