Once upon a time there lived a beautiful girl that had a lot of ex-boyfriends because she was a troublemaker. One day, after the sixth one dumped her, she ran away into a tall tower where she could cry. She never realized they dumped her because of her pranks. The woman who lived in the tower took good care of her.One day, there was a handsome prince strolling through the woods, where the tall tower stood. He looked up at it and remembered the story Rapunzel, so he shouted,
“Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!” Out the window came a hard rope. The prince was surprised, but thought it was okay, so he climbed it. Next to the great window, stood the most beautiful girl that he thought ever existed. Slowly each day, the prince fell more and more in love with her. The beautiful girl slowly began to fall in love with him also, but she was still a trouble-maker at heart.
One day, the prince came to Rapunzel with a ring. Rapunzel accepted his offer and a royal wedding was announced. Since Rapunzel was engaged to the prince, she decided the prince wouldn’t dump her for a little prank, so she planned. The next day, before the time when the prince usually arrived, Rapunzel made a dummy and painted its face very well. She placed it next to the window. When the prince shouted,
“Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair!” she tied the rope to a hook and crawled behind the dummy, which sat on a hard chair. As soon as the prince climbed over the window and saw the dummy, he began screaming like a little girl. Rapunzel said in a high pitched voice,
“Hello, my dear prince.” The prince gave one final scream, and leaped off the great tower. Wind blew across the trees and gave him a safe landing. The prince ran back to the kingdom.
The prince begged his father to cancel the wedding, but the king said it was not possible. What kind of influence would this give to the kingdom? So the wedding plans were continued, and the prince was forced to marry the trouble-maker Rapunzel. The kingdom did not last very long with the pranks, and the prince expelled her from the kingdom, and he married a maid in his household. They lived happily ever after.

SHORT STORY #1
Once upon a time, there was an very ugly girl. One day, her parents couldn’t stand to look at her face anymore and sent her off to a elderly witch who promised to take good care of her. As that very ugly girl grew up, she grew uglier. The witch started to call her Ugo. The witch decided that a village is not a good place for such an ugly girl so she brought Ugo to a tower where she was locked up all day. The witch never cut Ugo’s hair, because that was only for mourning, so Ugo’s hair grew longer, and longer, until it was about seventy feet long, and the darkest color that was more than you could imagine. it was very thick and and very fine, but Ugo was locked in the tower so no one could see how amazing it was. Slowly the clearing around the tall tower became into a forest, made by the witch, so Ugo couldn’t face people laughing about her.
One day, there was a blind peasant walking around with a silver cane in his hand. He was quite handsome, but to marry a blind man was like to marry a cow, so the peasant was very lonely. So he was walking to think about his life, until his cane bumped into a tower. On the other side, he heard, “Ugo, let down your hair!” by a shrill but kind voice. He heard a rush of something fall to the ground, and heard the someone climb onto it. He became curious on what was up in the tower, so he waited for the witch to come down. After she did, he waited again for about two hours. Finally he rushed to the other side of the tower and imitated the witch’s voice, “Ugo, let down your hair!” He again heard the rushing sensation of something falling to the ground. He touched it hesitantly, and felt very thick hair. He clambered up onto it and began to rise.
As the peasant climbed into the window, Ugo became terrified on what she saw. But soon the terrified feeling wore off and was place by a heart-beating sight. Ugo saw humans before, but it was a long time ago, so she could barely recognize one.
After the introduction, and the talking, Ugo began to fall in love with the handsome peasant. The peasant began to fall in love with Ugo. So everyday, the peasant went to talk to Ugo. Ugo wanted to marry him desperately, but couldn’t get out of the tower, so they planned an escape. One day, Ugo was sleeping in bed, for she was sick, and the witch was at home, taking care of her ugly daughter. The witch heard, “Ugo! it’s me!” and rushed to the window. Out there, she saw a very handsome man facing the tower. She suddenly knew what Ugo was doing all day, and said, “Ugo is sick! Get out of our forest!” The blind man became terrified, and ran away. He hit a tree, and was injured in the head. Ugo, hearing the the witch shout her words, knew immediately that the witch found out, and jumped out of her bed. She ran to the witch desperately, and began to beg for her to leave the tower and help the peasant. The witch, seeing how much Ugo cared, was finally moved by her tears. The witch popped a ladder out of thin air and put it down the window. Ugo climbed down the ladder as quick as possible and ran to the peasant.
After eating the witch’s food for so many years, Ugo had some powers stored in her. As she cried over the peasant, her tears sparkled with magic and fell upon the peasant. instead of just healing the head injury, her tears healed every broken part of his body, including his eyes. As the peasant opened his newly repaired eyes, he saw Ugo, and was surprised how ugly she was. He had lost his eyes at age ten, so he still knew how pretty and how ugly a girl could be, but Ugo was probably the ugliest girl in the world.
“Who are you?” the peasant shouted, and scooted away from her. Ugo was hurt, and said softly, “I’m Ugo, the girl in the tower.” The peasant stood up and ran away. The witch brought Ugo back in the tower and Ugo stayed there for the rest of her life, and the peasant married the girl who took care of the Goods Shop. They both lived happily and miserably after.
