Erika B. (SOS BOOKS) (erikab) | 3 comments Just for fun! Let's say you can only grab one chick lit book because...that's all you can grab! Which one is your all time favorite that you couldn't live without? This is a very hard question! :)

message 2: by Sarah (new)

Sarah Billington (sarahbillington) | 2 comments Man, that took some thought.
I reckon I'd pick Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging by Louise Rennison.
So. Funny.

message 3: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia (gypsysoul) | 1 comments Shopaholic Series. I remember laughing out loud to those books

message 4: by Diane (new)

Diane | 20 comments Jemima J by Jane Green. But the Louise Rennison books would be runner ups.

message 5: by Meghann (new)

Meghann (meghannhume23) | 1 comments Julia's chocolate by Cathy lamb( or a few others of her books) or jemima j..

message 6: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Lynne (babyblueforty5) | 3 comments Anything by Kristin Hannah

message 7: by Mamey (new)

Mamey (mameysmedley) This is hard! I would have to agree with Meghann. But any Cathy Lamb book would do.

karmaforlifechick (justkeepswimming) | 1 comments Meg Cabot

message 9: by Ana (new)

Ana Definitely Jemima J by Jane Green :)

message 10: by Meg (new)

Meg Dean (hippiewiccan) | 1 comments Bare Necessity by Carole Matthews

message 13: by Sana (new)

Sana | 4 comments Anything by Sophie Kinsella !

message 14: by Msphilosophy (new)

Msphilosophy This is a very tough question, good thing e-readers exist! but if I had to grab a hard cover book it would either be"Don't die my love" by Lurlene Mcdanial which I read when I was in high school and it's still one of my fave books ever or anything by Emily Giffin or Sophie Kinsella

message 15: by Jes (new)

Jes (jessijestine12) Definitely "Stillburrow Crush" by Linda Kage...
it's really sweet and all.

message 16: by Susan (new)

Susan Can you keep a secret? by Sophie Kinsella.

message 17: by Dorottya (new)

Dorottya (dorottya_b) | 2 comments I think I'd grab Something from Tiffany's from Melissa Hill. I've never encountered such magnificent and intelligent structuring in a chick lit novel as I found in this one! And it's lovely, too!.
(if there was a 2nd chance, I'd grab Confessions of a Shopaholic... I felt it was so authentic for most of the book, and cute :D)

I was thinking this one or ps I love by cecilia Ahern.

message 19: by Kelly (new)

Kelly (marquis784) The Bridges of Madison County

message 20: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 3 comments Definitely Dorothy Koomson's 'The Chocolate Run'. I love this book!

message 21: by Bridget (new)

Bridget Sampson | 3 comments I'd pick Is This All There Is? by Patricia Mann, her debut novel! It's so realistic and it felt like I was reading about my own life! It's about a wife, mother, and professor who is a little bored and ends up being seduced by a young, hot former college student of hers. Going on the journey of lust, angst, guilt, and obsession with her is quite the emotional roller coaster! Is This All There Is?

message 22: by Jamie (new)

Jamie Saunders (jamie_saunders) | 1 comments Can you keep a secret? and Remember Me. They are awesome!

message 23: by Pauline (new)

Pauline | 18 comments One of Marian Keyes' slightly older books.

Funny, I've never read it, but I loved the movie. Perhaps this should go on my TBR shelf. Thanks, Kelly.

message 25: by Ken (last edited Jan 15, 2013 02:05PM) (new)

Ken (reedr) | 3 comments For me it would be the two Kudzu Debutante novels by Cathy Holton. If you like funny, wicked, bitchy Southern belles and major drama, you gotta read this two bad boys.

Cathy Holton

Revenge of the Kudzu Debutantes (Kudzu Debutantes, #1) by Cathy Holton

The Secret Lives of the Kudzu Debutantes (Kudzu Debutantes, #2) by Cathy Holton

message 26: by Hannah (new)

Hannah Davidson | 1 comments The Friendship Test by Elizabeth Noble. I love all of her books she is a genius!

message 27: by Em (new)

Em Barrett (embarrettbooks) | 6 comments Summer Sisters by Judy Blume! Such a great book :)

message 28: by Rachna (new)

Rachna (corruptmillionaire) | 1 comments Good question! Does Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen count as chick-lit? I know it's magic realism but she always writes strong female centric stories...
