It's been several months since I edited my profile on BC, so maybe I've just forgotten how to navigate - but I can't find my wishlist over there? Did they eliminate that feature or am I overlooking it?

Over on the right, under the "store" and "info" tabs, you should see "Cheryl's Books". It's a dropdown tab with "All books" showing. Click the arrow and towards the bottom of the list you should see "wishlist".

I had that same issue! But once I found it, it all made sense.

Wouldn't it be great if one could somehow join the BC and GR wishslists?
I've created an exclusive shelf here for wishlist (so a book can be read, currently reading, tbr mountain or to be read or something like that, or wishlist). It'd be neat if it would be automatic to update all the books that are or no longer are on wishlist also on BC...

Yes it would be. I've pretty much abandoned by wishlist on BC, just made sure it didn't have anything on it that I had found since last edit. I do have a wishlist exclusive-shelf here on GR, like yours.
