Introduce Yourself!
I'm Katie and I've been reading webcomics for about five years now (I sound like I'm introducing myself at an AA meeting). Anyway, Questionable Content was my first and I started reading a lot of other comics that Jeph Jacques, the author, recommended. That is how I find ones to read, I usually don't search for new ones. I probably keep up with about 20 but there are more than that which have either stopped updating or I've given up on.QC is still a favorite of mine but recently I've been drawn to more graphic-novel type webcomics. I am loving Family Man right now because of the beautiful artistic style and great storytelling.
Hi. I'm Selena.I like to read funny web comics that are really easy to catch up on when I forget to check them for three months. In other words, ones that don't update a lot or that are quick to read, like comic strips. I have about four independent comics I follow, as well as a few Doujinshi (fan comics) on deviantart.
Hello; I'm Ana. I only read five webcomics (for shame!), but I've stuck with them for quite a long time. In fact, I was excited to join this group to learn more about what's out there!
Hey, I'm Alicia. I've been reading webcomics since high school, partly in the vain hope that some of the talent and knowledge will rub off on me by the time I get my own currently hypothetical webcomic off the ground.I've read a lot, am currently reading more than I'd like to admit, and am always open to suggestions.
By the way, Meg, I absolutely love your work! I look forward to every new page. The style you're working with is so unique and has such a wonderful aestheti :D
Hey. I'm Chalse and I have been reading webcomics for about a year and have fallen in love with quite a few. The art involved has to be my favorite part. I've read a lot of comics but only keep up with less than ten of them. Reading webcomics is like a fun thing I do when I'm not reading larger novels.
Hi, I'm Mike. I've been reading webcomics for, well at least ten years at this point, not exactly sure. I've read a ton and can't even come close to remembering them all (was pleasantly surprised to re-discover "minus" in another thread here).
Not following as many as I used to, but have already found several to check out from what others have mentioned here that will likely grow the list again. :)

Hello. I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to join in. Thank you for the invite, Kristen. I read lots of graphic novels, but I'm pretty new to the world of webcomics. I really appreciate all the links. It's been fun checking them out.
Where on earth do you find out about all these comics?
Welcome to the group, Melki! I dunno about everyone else, but I find most of the webcomics I read through the recommendations from webcomic creators. Often, there will be a "Links" page on the site, where the creator puts links to all of their favorite webcomics.
Oh, a welcome thread. Hi everyone I'm Sadie. I don't read specifically webcomics. I read quite a lot of manga & webtoons, of which webcomics are often mixed in. I look forward to checking out all the recommendations.
I'm Emily, I've been reading webcomics for... one or two years? XD I'm fairly new to this I guess! I first read Sarah Ellerton's Phoenix Requiem, and after that I started looking for webcomic collectives like Tomgeeks and TWC. That's how I got started on Earthsong, currently on my reading list. Then I started jumping from "Links" page to "Links" page, checking out different comics as I go. I'm reading about 6 right now, and I've also been working on one for a while now... Still only scripting though ^.^
Hi guys. I'm actually a webcomicker of three (don't worry I'm not gonna pitch them) and thought this would be a good group to join so's I can hear how folks think. For webcomics I like Girl Genius and Oglaf. I used to read Blip, Scandanavia and the World, and a couple of others but time got tight on me and I started to lose touch.
There was another webcomic I enjoyed, but I can't remember its name. Music Box I think.
Anyway, hello all!
Hi, I'm Alex. I've been reading webcomics for about a year and keep up with 26 ranging from daily to weekly to sporadic updates. My favourite has got to be Dreamless, this month's pick oddly enough.
Hi, I'm Laura, I discovered webcomics only fairly recently, but I have been reading comics for ages. I like ones with beautiful art and moving storylines, but I also like ones with a dark sense of humour. I think The Phoenix Requiem (by the illustrator of Dreamless) and FreakAngels are my favourites so far!I also love anything Steampunk, Victoriana and Gothic, so any suggestions are much appreciated!
Hi, I'm Avi. I started reading webcomics recently, my first one being Girl Genius (which, for shame, I'm about a month or two behind on!). The ones I'm currently reading are Girl Genius, Shadowbinders, and Back Office. In general, I'm interested in sci-fi/fantasy, steampunk, etc. that combines drama and comedy, possibly with one outweighing the other, if it's done well. :)
Hi I'm Brie. I'm interested in all kinds of things. I honestly love reading so much that I can say I've probably read a bit of everything. The only webcomics I've read is megatokyo and girl genius. Now that I have a nook and can read my comics everywhere I look forward to discovering even more.
Hi! I'm Nicole and I've been reading webcomics for about 10 years ever since I was a wee girl. I have my own little webcomic Irrational Fears Girl, which I've been making for a little over a year now and I'm happy with my little fanbase. I have a few favourites such as Curio, Hemlock, and BFFs. I'm always open to finding new comics.
So, I probably should have done this when I first joined the group...Hi, I'm Kayleigh. I've been reading webcomics for about three years now, starting with Questionable Content. I currently follow around 20 webcomics regularly, as well as a few that I only check sporadically because they don't update very often (too lazy to list them all, sorry). I also have a "to-read" list that's getting really long. This group has been a lot of fun so far, and I look forward to participating in many lovely discussions here!
Welcome welcome welcome! :D@ Devon: Megatokyo is fun. :)
@ Kayleigh: I also have an endless to-read list. You'll get through it eventually. :)
Hi! I've been a webcomic reader since the 90s. Among my favorites are Sluggy Freelance, Mohagen, Twilight Monk and The Bean, in no particular order. I'm also a webcomic creator, with two very different webcomics, Jake the Evil Hare and Darkfell.Looking forward to discovering some new comics here :)
You mention some comics I've yet to come across. I'd love to have their addresses. And nice to meet you! =^-^=
The only web comic I read right now is the Dreamer by Lora Innes, thedreamercomic.com. Although I have read Love and Capes online (and have the first two tpb) and I've read a little of Mark Waid's Insufferable which started out strong, but I just checked and Thrillbent isn't working right now.I would like to learn about other web comics, because I like a good story.

I hope that you find lots of good ones.
I'm Beth. I have been reading comics all my life. The webcomics I read are the Dreamer, Gronk, and Love and Capes.
I'm Gordon. I do a webcomic called Multiplex, the first year and a half of which is collected as Multiplex: Enjoy Your Show (and I'm finishing up work on the second book now).I was invited to join a while back, so………… I'm here! :) Hullo!
Hi I'm Vim! I'm from Manila, Philippines. I like reading the occasional web comics when given the time. My favorites are Marry Me and Phoenix Requiem. :) I do hope I'll be active in this group because I used to have a hard time keeping track of conversations in forums before. Also, I would appreciate some web comics recommendations that are similar to my favorites. I'm usually online so you can send me a PM if you want to discuss books. Thank you!
Hi, I'm Rose, I accepted an invite for this group a few weeks back. I've been reading webcomics for, oh, at least 10 years... wow, that is kind of a long time, ha. I follow a handful regularly and have a folder of bookmarks for others that I like to catch up on every few months. Really, I'm a fan of graphic storytelling in general, and have been glutting myself this year on all the graphic novels and comics my local libraries have to offer. Right now I regularly read A Softer World, Girls With Slingshots, Questionable Content, Unsounded, Oglaf (very NSFW), Hark! A Vagrant, and The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal. Also, I'm so excited that The Meek might be coming off of hiatus very soon! It was one of my favorites (oh, because one of the main characters is an unselfconsciously topless girl, The Meek is NSFW).

I didn't know that The Meek(NSFW) might be off hiatus. That's really exciting news! I'm a fan off all of the webcomics you mentioned, except for A Softer World, which I haven't read yet.
Welcome to the group, both of you!
Hi! I've been reading comics for ages, but I'm pretty new to webcomics. I've been lurking around here for a while getting lots of good recommendations. I've read the Webcomic of the Month for the last few months, and I've really enjoyed Lackadaisy, Little Dee, Dreamless, and The Phoenix Requiem. I'm looking forward to finding more :)
It's nice to see some comments from you, JeeJee! I'm to glad to hear that you've liked our Webcomics of the Month, too!
Hi Everyone:My name is Madeleine Holly-Rosing and I'm the writer/creator of BOSTON METAPHYSICAL SOCIETY webcomic.
It's about an ex-Pinkerton detective and his medium/spirit photographer partner who battle supernatural forces in late 1800's Boston.
You can view the first chapter here: http://www.bostonmetaphysicalsociety.com
There are also novelettes/novellas as companion pieces.
The webcomics I'm reading right now are NEXT TOWN OVER (Steampunk western) and DERELICT (scifi). But it sounds like I need to check out THE PHOENIX REQUIEM!
Best,
Madeleine
Hello World,I'm Tristan and I'm a webcomic creator. I'm not new to the world of comics, I've been reading them since I was five. My first comic was X-Men (early 90s). There was a gas station right outside my apartment complex that sold various comics. Currently, I'm trying to get back into comics, specifically Invincible by Robert Kirkman. One webcomic that's interesting is Megatokyo.
Talk with you soon!
- Tristan

My name is Kristen. I only started reading webcomics about two years ago, but I've been addicted ever since. I estimate that I am currently keeping up with 50 webcomics. I haven't counted, so I'm not positive. I obviously have a lot of free time :/ My absolute favorite comic has to be Lackadaisy: Volume #1. It has everything I could ever want in a comic! And while it doesn't update as often as I wish it would, the quality more than makes up for it.
