Tox was meandering down the street, clutching her side. With a machete in her hand, she walked a little strange with the uneven weight. Her head was spinning and she felt like she was going to fall. Looking at her side, she lifted her hand a moment, only to press it back on. Her lip curled up in pain. She had gotten into a fight with a man in a store. The man was obviously crazy and had attacked her. Not with a gun, but with a sword like hers. Even though Tox was pretty beat up, the other guy was dead, and she didn't feel sorry.
Steps became slower and breathing became a little harder. It wasn't just the one cut on Tox's right side. She had a gash on her left shoulder and one on the inside of her left thigh, pretty high up too. She didn't have anything to treat the wounds and she was regretting not stocking back up. A few more steps, and Tox's knees buckled. She fell to her knees and bent forward, coughing up a little blood. Everything sounded like she was in a tunnel and her vision was becoming darker. She shook her head. "Can't end like this..." She muttered, but knew if someone didn't find her, she would die of blood loss.

Tox's eyes opened as she heard voices, but she couldn't move. She didn't know what they were saying and she yelled out in pain as one of them lifted her up. It made her feel so weak, but she could tell that they were trying to help. Her eyes closed tight again and she grabbed onto part of the seat, digging her nails into it.
Tox squeezed the seat harder and gritted her teeth, grunting in pain. "Pain meds?" She asked through her gritted teeth.
Tox opened her eyes and looked at Ashe, biting her bottom lip a little. She paused and nodded lightly. "Tox," she answered.
Tox tilted her head back, looking at the ceiling of the truck. She let out a sigh, clenching her jaw. "Well, you two, thanks for picking me up," she said.
Tox shook her head slightly, her pounding headache beginning to mess with her. Her vision pulsated with the pounds, making her dizzy. She groaned a little, breathing heavily, but regretting it as the gash in her side throbbed.
"God, I need water..." Tox muttered and slowly started to sit up. She could hear Zach and Ashe talking, though, she didn't know what about. She managed to sit up, clenching her jaw, and not allowing herself to make a sound.
Tox turned and looked at her bag that had fallen off of the seat and onto the floor. "Good..." She muttered and then picked it up, slowly placing it on her lap, avoiding the cut on her left leg.
Tox pulled out a bottle of water and ran her hand through her hair, moving it from where it had fallen over her face. It took a few tries, but she opened the bottle and took a hearty swig.
"Open the door, I need air," Tox said to him and took another drink of water. She locked eyes with him, waiting.
Tox slowly moved herself out of the car and shakily stood. She took a breath and then looked over at Zach. "So you're her brother?" She asked.
Tox shook her head. "No, it was another human. He was just insane." she said, "I promise you I wasn't bit."
Tox slowly stood up straight, pain still throbbing through her wounds and to the rest of her body, but she kept herself held up straight. "Thanks again," she said, a small smile playing at the corner of her lips.
Tox nodded slightly and then ran a hand through her hair. She looked over to the fire. It looked very welcoming, but she almost felt like she needed sleep.. Though, she knew that sleeping was probably not an option for her at the moment... Because of the condition she was in.
Lily and Sofia walked on the dirt covered floored the mall. They remembered once when the mall was a place for everyone to hang out but now...it was old and rotten....falling apart and full of bodies.
"You sure building a fire is the best idea?" Tox asked, her mind going at 1000 miles an hour all of the sudden.
"It's not about ventilation, it's more of the smoke. I don't want to meet anyone else who's crazy today," Tox said.
Tox sighed. Obviously he didn't get it. "The smoke. People will be able to see it. That's the problem. I don't want another crazy person attacking me any time soon."
Tox frowned a little and then sighed. "Whatever you say," she murmured.
"I probably wont be much company," Tox said with a small smile.
"Alright," Tox agreed after a moment. "Could you help me walk?" She asked, holding her arm out.
