Name an ancient city and something about their religion or monuments  i.e. buildings,statues.

Greece. They belived in Zeus, Athena, Hera, and all those gods. There temples were for the gods to see that they were ruled under them and what they "said"...

Egypt. They believed in Re, Geb, Anubis and a bunch of other Gods. They created their pyramids to hold the bodies of dead pharoahs so they could go to Osris (the afterlife).
