ROLEPLAYS (SUGGESTIONS)

When it comes to creating Roleplays i certainly feel that something widely known is better & will be more popular, so works of fiction that many have read. Both JRR Tolkien's works, JK Rowling's Harry Potter series and Jane Austen are extremely well-known and widely read works of literature. Hence my other suggestions would be;
* A Dicken's - re create the harder life in Victorian England
* Grimms Fairytales - everyone knows Cinderella, Hanzel & Gretel and the Princess and the Pea.
Also, creating our own 'world' could be interesting, as combining everyones ideas and creativity might produce something outstanding.
Yeah, check out the other Roleplay reccomendation topic for creating our own plots Lucinda, I think you'd be good at it :)
I have a few ideas that just came to mind:- X-Men or something with superpowers
- Dinotopia
- Cirque du Freak
- Alex Rider/MI6 or some kind of spy thing
Thanks Lucinda! Those ideas are awesome. I really love the Dickens idea (Victorian England) and i especially love the Grimms (maybe Hans Christian Anderson would work well too). Thanks alot for the ideas, i appreciate it :)
Aurora, i love your ideas too, especially some sort of superpowers, or we could do the avengers, and bring together all the superheroes we know! that's really cool :)
WE could even do our own world with our favourite character from a book and see how they all mesh together :)
i know that Rachel especially would love the Alex Rider idea!

Alex Rider is one of the greatest series ever! I will be creating that one soon.
On the topic of creating our own, go to the other topic to explore ideas a little further :D

"Alex Rider is one of the greatest series ever!..."I completely agree. Alex Rider Series are amazing, and my favorite series. Also maybe some thing like:-
Artemis Foul
H.I.V.E.
James Bond (more so young bond style- Eton in the future)
The Phoenix Files
i think:thiease would be good:
~ x-men
~ percy jackon
~ city of bones
~ teh book of shadows
the rest would be hard to rp with
we're doing one with superpowers- so anything from x-men you can mix up in there. i think Rach, Hamza and i all silently agree that we must do a percy jackson one!!! but in the meantime, we'll focus on the current ones.
thanks for the suggestions! :)
thanks for the suggestions! :)
i haven't read divergent yet- that's why i'd like to do it for a group read, but it could be very interesting...
Phoenix files would be an interesting one or if not maybe like a 1 month till the end of the world roleplay instead.

How about some suggestions for another roleplay, so people have a selection to choose from if they prefer one or the other. i think we should have at least a few traditional roleplays- they don't all have to be so different- so i suggest the basics like Harry Potter/Hogwarts, the Arena (hunger games), Middle Earth, Wonderland, and such things- places from books that we have read and that we relate to, and that we wish we were a part of.
And then we could make our own world, something like never before- but what we need is for you guys to contribute. so suggest anything you like here, and i might put up a poll to find the most popular. invite friends, vote on polls, and soon the fun will start. keep writing :)
