Hello everyone! I am a published author and wanted to share my new book, "Techno Green Sutainable Socialism: Naturalism", which is FREE on Kindle for 5 days starting October 31st. My book outlines a new economic and political system. It includes a specific concept: a system where every citizen is mandated to strictly follow a vegan diet for the survival of the environment and other species. Question for the Group: As vegans/vegetarians, what are your thoughts? Is state-mandated veganism the only ethical and sustainable path forward, or does the end goal (saving the planet) justify potentially restrictive means? Join the discussion, grab a free copy to read the full theory, and share your perspective! Click here to grab your FREE copy (31 Oct - 4 Nov): https://www.amazon.in/Techno-Green-Su...

I'd like to introduce you to my short story "Lawrence," the tale of a simple high-school youth who takes a stand for animals and gays. Since it is short, I don't think I'll discuss it beyond saying that Lawrence is a vegetarian who stands up for animals and against bullies.
This story is near to my heart, and has had an interesting history. It was accepted by a university lit-mag a couple of years ago, but I withdrew it because they sat on it for so long (too hot for them maybe?). And I'm glad I did. I published the story as a free ebook three weeks ago on Smashwords, and it has been downloaded about 160 times already. One British reader reached my author's heart when she told me the story moved her to tears.
If the story means something to you, please do share it widely -- that's the very reason it's free!
And place do share your reactions with me.
Oh, you can find the video of me reading the story on my GR Author Page.
Thanks and best wishes,
Jon
