Tyler walked in and sat near stella.

Loading her plate with an abundance of salad Stella was happy enough. She saw Tyler take a seat beside her. "Hey Tyler, how's it going?"

Maia walked into the great hall. Her hair was floating out behind her, and she was glowing with power and beauty, as usual. She stood for a second, watching people.

Maddy ran into Maia on her way into the great hall, causing her to drop her books.

"oh, Im sorry!" Maia said. she waved her wand, causing the books to be put in a pile and float to Maddy.

Maddy caught the books, "Oh, it's fine, it's my fault. I never watch were I'm going." hastily replying to Maia.

she smiled slightly. "you are Maddy, correct?" she asked, already knowing the answer.

"Yeah. You're Maia, right?" Maddy said, smiling at the other girl.

"yep." she said, smiling brightly, which made her glow even brighter..

"Uh...do you mind if we sit? These books are kinda heavy." She grunted, setting the books down on the table with a thud.

"not at all." she looked up at the head table. "i don't think they'll notice if i don't sit at my house table..." she said, thoughtfully, then sat down.

"Oh yeah they never look back here." she sat up on her heels to look over the other students, "I table hop daily, if not, weekly."

She laughed. "where do you usually go?" she asked.

She shrugged, "No where specific, anywhere the conversation is good. I mostly do it for the thrill."

"you should be a Gryff, not a Raven." she said.

"I don't know. I kinda like it here. Besides what's the difference?" Maddy said.

Jasmine walks into the great hall and sat down on the gryffindors table looking around nervously.

Tyler eats a sandwich.

"i guess there isnt. you sound really brave, and thats one of the traits Gryffs are supposed to have." she said.

"I'm not brave I just like doing things no one else does." Maddy said tapping her fingers on the books.

"ok. im not either, but the hat still put me in Gryffindor." she said.

Maia noticed Tyler. she looked away quickly, hoping nobody had noticed.

"Guess the hat knows best." She chuckled, not noticing that Maia looked away for a second.

Tyler yawned.

She gets some salad barely noticing that anyone sat down at the table.

"yeah, i suppose it does." she said, grinning slightly.

She looks up and smiles

"its the Ravens." she said, gesturing with her glowing hand to the kids in the Raven colors.

Jasmine turns and looks and sees a gryffindor at the ravenclaw table she smiles at her then turns back to her salad.

Maia smiled back at Jasmine.

She smiles back wondering why she is sitting with the ravenclaws. She just shrugs it off. She accidently looks at the slytherins table then looks away.

Maia watched her for a couple minutes. she was intrigued by the girl for some reason.

She eats her salad slowly feeling somone watching her. She just ignores the feeling and trys to finish her salad.

Maia turned around, guessing that the girl was uncomfortable with her staring.

I realised whoever was staring. Took thiers eyes off. I just kept eating my salad slowly.

Maia looked back at her every now and then, for some reason curious about her.

She keeps eating her salad slowly getting a little tired and homesick.

Maia noticed the girls change in attitude. she said, "ill be right back." to Maddy then walked over. "are you ok?" she asked the girl.

I look up and see the gryffindor from earlier she asks me something i answer saying. "Yes i'm fine." she smiles
